Where was this book when I was in my 20s?!

I love the open and honest storytelling. Lala has clearly done a lot of self reflection and it comes through in this book in the most relatable way.

Interesting ideas

The book was her life using her lense of being in a privileged life but feel the lack of guidance in her upbringing caused a lot of her struggles. Kids need the structure as they cannot see the consequences in true light when young. But it is what it is, her life and story to tell and that is what makes us grow.

An Unfiltered Look at Lauren

Truly a wonderful listen. A fan of Vanderpump and weekly listener of the Give Them Lala podcast, it was an introspective book filled with juicy stories and gave me a deeper understanding of where Lala got her namesake. Lauren Burningham is the real life Hannah Montana and I loved every minute of the audiobook. I hope you write another about your life thriving as a new single mom and a female business owner!

I have adored Lala since her debut on VPR. I was mercilessly and horribly bullied from Elementary school until I finally quit High School my senior year. I cried listening to how Lala was bullied and how her parents loved her more and reassured her that she was incredibly amazing and special. I was so ashamed I was being bullied I could never bring myself to tell my family. I applaud her bravery to speak on such a personal and difficult decision to end a pregnancy that she was in no way ready to have. I am neither prochoice or prolife, I am "pro it's your body, your life, and your emotional wellbeing," do what's best for you in your life. I relate so much to Lala and I if she ever decides to wrote another book I'll be at the front of the line to acquire it!! 💙
