She refused to allow the torture change her, like it changed her mother. This is the story of Jennifer’s past, how she got through it, and how she survived it all.

Empowerment

It was great. The author wrote the book in her own voice, so people would understand where she came from, and what she accomplished. An amazing story of triumph! Thank you for sharing your story. It is inspiring someone could stay so positive through such horror.

Mediocre

It’s absolutely terrible what these parents put their children through. But the story was hard to follow at times and several repetitive statements. It came across as very surface.
