Hendricks and pekkanen are a match made in heaven!
This is the third (4th if you include the short story I downloaded from audible) book I’ve read by this duo, and they just keep getting better! Was so entranced by this one I found myself hoping someone would take it in as a film with a twist ending like that! Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

I get why you didn’t like the book, but I liked it!!
I read so many mixed reviews about this book but I’ll tell you, I loved it!
Maybe it’s because I’m single, in my 30’s and living in NYC? I definitely agree it’s not the best book, or plausible (at all) BUT it was entertaining and kept my attention. I looked forward to diving in and seeing what happened next. Give it a try, maybe it’s for you!

This was definitely my least favorite novel from these authors. It was a bit predictable and a less mysterious than I would have liked. Even so, I was pulled into the story and interested in the characters. I would recommend it, and I would highly recommend their other works.

kept me guessing

Dumb, long and drawn out
I have about three hours to go in this book. I will finish it, but honestly it is so dumb and silly that I went ahead and googled the ending because even 7 hours in I still had no idea what this book was about. And didn’t really care. I can already tell that a lot of issues will remain unresolved. And - The main character was so immature.

Kinda ludicrous
I’m a fan of the authors but the storyline was a little bi ridiculous. I’d read the other reviews to to have a feel of it if you want to listen to this.
