Interesting Short Story!

Very interesting story, wish it was longer and we got to see what happened with Mara. The narrators voices were great and fit the ages of the characters.

Strange Twist of Fate

Performers are excellent and their voices are well suited for their ages. Can two needy people meet each other’s needs when there relationships is based on lies? Find out by listening.

Catching story

This left me want to know what happened next. Disappointed it ended so quickly.

Confusing ending

I lived the narrator and story, but when it ended I did not know what had happened. “I don’t get it,” my friend said, after listening with me. “Me neither!” I agreed. Nevertheless, I love this author in novel length books.

Great read!

All is not what it seems at the outset of this terrific short story. I was at the edge of my proverbial set waiting to see what would happen next and did not the ending coming. Can’t wait to read more from this wonderful author.

Novella

This novella is great, my only complaint was the ending. But the more I think about it maybe this is just an introduction to a longer story. I hope so because it is well written and was a great listen to. The narrators Lauren Ezzo and Susannah Jones do a wonderful job.

Good short listen

An entertaining story and short listen for when you want to finish a story same day. I wished it was just a bit longer since the plot was pretty rushed and I’d be interested in knowing what happens next.

This was a well written piece & the reader was excellent. Just was shocked that it ended so abruptly.

Too short

Very intriguing and then…..well, sort of creepy, but it needed more. Too short. The narration was good.

Bridging the age between a mother and daughter like figure

In the span of one and a half years Blair lost her daughter and husband. Walking by her daughters bedroom is a constant reminder of how little she knew her.

Outside her office building Blair finds a wallet. In a show of faith Blair wants to return the wallet to the owner. What she doesn’t expect is friendship. Blair connects with Mara on level she desperately needs to help heal from the loss of losing her daughter at a young age.

I don’t know if I should feel worried, scared, or alarmed by the ending of this short story. I was slightly creeped out by Blair’s confession. Greer Hendricks is a fantastic writer. Writing this short piece proves her writing talent.

Narrators:
Susannah Jones and Lauren Ezzo are the two magnificent talents who represented the voices of Blair and Mara. I listened using the audible app at 1.8x speed. Both ebook and audiobook were part of my Amazon free subscription. Audiobook’s enhance reading experience. I find I gravitate to owning both. I’ve grown spoiled wanting someone else to read to me. These two performers succeeded in making this a memorable moment.
