A Fantastic End to A Fantastic Series

What a great ending to an amazing series. Firstly I must give credit to Michael Dean and his fantastic narration throughout the whole series, as well as for this book itself. He really brought this characters to life and made listening to this book very much like a movie. Like the other books it was filled with a background story dealing with the sex trafficking ring and all the threads from the other stories came together here and we finally got to know much more about the man behind Vigilance, X and his trusted hacker Emilio. Xavier and Emilio were perfection together, their chemistry was scorching hot and they complimented eachother so well. It also really enjoyed ax’s bi-awakening, it came on early and fairly strong upon meeting Emilio, and I enjoyed his inner dialogue of coming to terms with it yet still trying to almost fight it due to wanting to keep Emilio safe. I also loved how Emilio knew even having knowledge he shouldn’t have had about X that he could trust him and felt safe with him. The introduction of Lancelot and The Theriots was also great, as I’ve also read two of the books from that series. My only complaint with this book is that it ended too soon for me, and with it means the end of this immediate world. I do love that that we finally got a classic HEA with Emilio and Xavier, they both certainly deserved it. Hail to Silvia Violet on a fantastic ending to an equally fantastic series

really wanted to give 5 stars, but....

X's story was so highly anticipated and I was sadly letdown. After Leo's story, this one just felt flat or kind of blah. The last third of the book was the worst. It was too predictable and dare I say cheesy? I've come to expect so much more from Silvia Violet as proven by her prior books. I wish she would go back and rewrite X's story with more depth, angst and grit, and give this series the proper ending it really deserves. Of course, Michael Dean's performance was fantastic especially with what he had to work with.

A Delicious Series!!

Thoroughly enjoyed Silvia Violet's steamy Vigilance saga, and hope it will eventually continue on!! She is a favorite author in the M/M romance department, and never disappoints! So very glad she called upon the lush talents of Michael Dean's narration. His sexy voice sets the tone, and delineates characters into unique personae. You won't want to miss a single installment!!!🤪

Perfect Ending to the Series

Love, love, love this book! Wish it were longer. I absolutely loved this series, one of my favorites! Perfectly narrated, as usual by Michael. Highly recommend!

I'm so excited this came out. It was so good. I typically hate the one guy is straight trope, but it was handled well here. I can't wait for her new series taking place in New Orleans.

Loved It!

We finally get X's story and it didn't disappoint! Xavier and Emilio were great together. Emilio really got beneath the rough exterior to grab hold of X's heart. Their scenes together were fabulous--great dialogue, witty banter and smoking hot (they had a few 'melt my kindle' moments)! It was also so much fun when all the vigilance guys got together with some of the Marchasi's and the new Mob family from New Orleans--their conversations were so good! I cannot wait for the spin-off series...a new family and hopefully visits from old friends too! 

Michael Dean was fantastic in this entire series! He had a lot of growly men to voice, all in the scene at the same time and he was excellent! He always brings such passion and intensity to his narration that you just get completely immersed into the story!

Nice to see Xavier get his HEA.
Xavier and Emilio have an instant attraction and fall into live rather quickly.
I maybe see a break off series in the future.
Silvia Violet never disappoints and Michael Dean is also always solid.

It’s here! *Cue happy dance* We finally get to know X’s story and holy hotness it was everything I hoped it would be! Michael Dean did another amazing job bringing this story to life for me! I’ve been absolutely loving his narrations of the Vigilance (as well as the preceding Marchesi) series! He’s totally nailed the growly men of these stories! He really knows how to bring both the heat and emotions of a story, and I admit to blushing at points of this one! If you’re like me, you’ve been intrigued with who X is, and what his story may be since we first met him in Devil’s book within the Marchesi series. I loved being able to fill in all the why’s: who X is, why he is the way he is, and why Vigilance is so important to him. With all those why’s, we also get to learn that X is interested in a man for the first time. Cue all the advice (and some ribbing) from his teammates about falling for a man! That man being Emilio, the cyber intelligence of Vigilance. Emilio was so sweet and I loved him getting X to open up and face some hard realizations. I enjoyed the action we’ve come to expect from this series, and the seriously hot AF (first) sexy times! It was great getting to seeing the Marchesi’s and the rest of the team join in on the action. The setup for the next series the author has in planned for us has left me so intrigued!!

Decent end to a series

I really enjoyed this series. This last book sort of wrapped it up and gave us an intro to a new family for what I assume will be the next series.

The story lines, that include friendship, family, brotherhood, humor, SEXY times, and most of all love written by Ms. Violet that make up this series is nothing short of fabulous!!! From Giorgio and Lane in book one to book four where we FINALLY learn about X and the genius that is Emilio, I was hooked!!! I loved that X is so complex and that Emilio is his other half! Michael Dean as the narrator was INCREDIBLE!!! His ability to capture the essence of each character was perfection!!! Thank you!!
