Excellent youth fantasy

I am pre-reading books for my kids. I do think the book is a little dark but enjoyably whim-some.

SO SO GOOD!

What a great story for people of all ages. A sequel that wasn't riding its predecessor's coat tails. A wonderful storyline with amusing characters, and an aesthetically pleasing writing style.

Jessica Townsend is a genius!!

This is such a fun series. I promise if you try it you will not be disappointed. I am not sure what the other reviews look like but if you are looking for a good book to get engrossed in this is it. I know it was probably meant for children but I adore it. You will find yourself making time to listen longer. Obviously start with Nevermoor.

A Must Listen!!!

The story of Morrigan Crow is consistently charming and engaging, with the whimsical, topsy-turvy, and occasionally dangerous city of Nevermoor once again stealing the show. As with the previous installment, Gemma Whelan's expressive narration and delightful characterization of each of Nevermoor's unusual inhabitants makes the audio series my preferred way of experiencing Morrigan's marvelous misadventures.
