On Washington Avenue in Moonlight, Mississippi, four friends, single and over 50, find themselves in the age-old conundrum - they're too old to be young, but way too young to be old. All of them are ready for another chance at love. But when that chance comes to each of them, it brings startling surprises and secrets that threaten their hopes for love.

Nice listen

The characters are fun, vibrant, strong women. They are all of a mature age and have lived through many life events. They are all well rounded, intelligent individuals.
While the book is about them and their lives, it's even more about love and friendship. Love weaves throughout their lives and relationships.
Familial love, sisterly, best friendship love, and romantic love all play a part in this interesting take of the women of Washington Avenue. There are secrets, a mystery, and romance in the book. While it wasn't a pulse pounding, action filled story, it did keep me wanting to find out what would happen.
I felt that the narrator added a lot to the book. She voiced the characters well and put plenty of emotion into their stories. You can easily tell which character is speaking and how they are feeling. I think she did a great job.
Better than I'd expected
