Not good

I kept thinking that there was going to be some crazy twists but the one I thought did it very early on was the guilty one and the reason they did it was exactly what I thought. The narration was good and the book wasn’t poorly written but the plot was really predictable. I did actually enjoy the ending the most. Probably because the abruptness was the only thing I didn’t see coming.

Knew the protagonist from the beginning

Very easy to figure out the who done it. The Story was very unbelievable. Definitely let down

Bad ending.

The overall story was good and I loved the narration. But to have it end that way made the whole book feel empty (and unfinished) for me.

This is book 1

I wish I would have know there was a sequel to this book before I listened to the sequel first. I still listened and enjoyed this book but would have preferred to listen in the correct order. It is still a good listen

Good read

I like this book because it had a lot of twist and turns. I thought I was figuring it out and then it turns out I didn’t. I was surprised at the end.

Unique!

First, where has this author been all my life? Second, don’t hesitate just get this book. Yes, if I could have picked a different ending I would have but it doesn’t take away from the excitement and insight and basically excellent writing in this book. Went straight from here and ordered another of her books.

The ending just dropped

The entire book was great! Great narration, great plot, great page turner… and then the ending just feels like I’m missing pages of a book. It just ends, what feels like, in the middle of a sentence if you will.

Fun listen but figured out end quick

This story is fast paced and u will like all the characters and you generally want to know who done it, but it’s pretty easy to figure it out.

Could have been better

I won't spoil the ending for those who haven't listened to this book, but I will say that I found it most unsatisfying, and not in keeping with the rest of the book. They were also too many passages of emotional handwringing for me. By the time I got to the end, I wished I hadn't listened to the book.

Meh (Plot was great but overall it fell short)

I was highly disappointed by the ending. The villian I was ok with but I felt that the author could've done so much more. The protagonist was sooo annoying - she would not take accountability for her actions despite being abducted and in potential peril. She was narcissistic and her killer a sociopath or maybe they were both sociopaths. Anywho I don't believe I'll be reading/listening to any more books by this author.
