vanilla and slow paces

not what I expect ed but an OK story. very pg and vanilla. if your looking for a hot steamy romance this is not it. almost a ya novel.

Loved it

This was my first book by Jo and I loved it. Great story with wonderful characters and plot. Amazing narration.

Intense, Sarcastic and full of Adventure

Beautifully written story with a strong plot. Unlike some shifter books, this book is not all about sex it actually has a strong story of Rafe and Lisa getting to know one another. I love the mix of Fae, Cougar shifters, Witches, and Wolf shifters it was very well rounded. The sarcastic banter between the characters was fun it brought the story realism. The narrator did a phenomenal job bringing the characters to life. I, for one, highly recommend this book if you want to read/listen to a story that is not all about sex but love, adventure, magic, and most enticing sexy shifters. This is my honest review that I am leaving here of my own free will.

Enough twists and turns but laugh through the book

This book was just what I needed I would laugh out loud and in the next try to figure out the puzzle of the book. I was never so happy as to be wrong. I look forward to reading more of this author and the narration was fantastic

it's ok

The story was well thought out and flowed nicely. The narrator was not good with female voices. they all turned out high pitched and whiny. If I continue the series I would read it.

This one was Fun, Readhead with a Temper!

Stephanie's Best friend comes to visit and spend a couple of weeks with Her, Colin and the girls. Upon arriving and going to the local dinner they run into the Sheriff and he is smitten by this beautiful Redheaded Woman. The Narrator does (as usual) a Great job of bringing this story to life. I just love the Irish Lilt of the Fae characters done by Mr. Waters!!

interesting start to a new shifter series

was a good start to a new shifter series It took a few chapters to get into. the narrator does a good job easy to identify characters by voice well worth a listen it's a shorter book so might be worth waiting for a sale rather than using a credit on

Wonderful

I very much enjoyed the story and the narration. I am looking forward to starting the second book in the series.

Has potential

Not my usual style of reading but ended up relaxing and letting the fantasy story take over.

First, let me say that I listened to this series out of sequence....Part 4 (Sheriff - Colin and Stephanie's story) should be listened to/read first since (Spoiler Alert!!!!!) they are already "married" with kids in Part 1. Part 2 and 3 are in order.

Secondly, while I agree with some reviewers' opinions that the story and narration is a bit rough, I do think both improved as the stories went on. Narrator had a habit of emphasizing the wrong words at times which throws the reader off and is distracting and a bit "staccato", however, that improves. Character development could be better, story line is good but could use more clarification at times...reader stays interested but don't let your mind wander trying to figure out who someone is or what's going on or you'll be rewinding to catch up. Love the humor! I laughed out loud at times!
