Publisher's Summary

Three werewolf brothers will find their mates. Witch. Druid. Ghost Whisperer.

Wolf Creek Alpha: Lisa has no idea that magic actually exists until she is threatened by a powerful dark Fae - and until she meets the alpha of the East Texas wolf pack. Rafe is in charge of guarding the pack's secret magical pond. And now he's in charge of guarding Lisa, too. When a seer from the cougar pride has a vision concerning all shifters, Rafe must ask the light Fae to help him protect Lisa and the pond from the menace that threatens them all. Rafe knows Lisa is his mate. Convincing her is another matter.

Wolf Creek Enforcer: Melanie is an extrovert, loving and kind but tough and outspoken when necessary. Ian is an introvert; all he wants is to claim his mate and keep her safe. Grunting more than one-syllable words annoys him, but opening up to his mate becomes easier as he gets to know her. Well, somewhat easier.

Ian is the head enforcer for his pack. Something is pulling at him until he hits the road, looking for his mate. He finds Melanie, a free spirit hitchhiking in New Mexico. Once he gets her to his home in East Texas, he has to protect her from a wizard who wants her for her magical abilities.

Melanie can't wait to explore this feeling that led her to take to the highway. Finding Ian is more than she could have hoped for. The difficult part will be telling him of her family's legacy and the job she was entrusted with.

Wolf Creek Ghosts: Devlin meets his mate near his home when her car breaks down. He knows instantly she is his mate, but he has some concerns. She talks to imaginary people.

Olivia enjoys nice clothes, manicures, and helping ghosts that are lost or lonely. Talking to dead people is commonplace for her. Meeting a man claiming to be her mate and a werewolf blows her mind.

They will work together to send an evil ghost on to the fate that awaits his darkened soul.

three in one

I enjoyed the 3 brothers and following their stories to finding their mates. I liked that each was so different and interesting, and I git drawn in to the storylines easily and felt satisfied with the ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Liked the prequel more

I liked the prequel more, this was just slow (even on 1.1x speed) and tough to get through. I also got confused about whether the characters were talking or saying what they were thinking bc it was all done in the same tone of voice (I think this is more an issue of the writing being put into audio format). I really liked the world building and plot. I’d consider reading this instead.

Didn’t finish

I got through the first story and had no desire to listen to the rest. The romance was cold and clinical, the bad guys were blah, and the good guys were bland. It was almost like listening to a report instead of a story. As a listener, I didn’t feel any excitement, thrills or suspense, nor did it stroke my imagination. Mr. Waters was good as a narrator. I especially appreciated his female voices. Some male narrators make the females sound like whiney males.

Thoroughly enjoyable boxset!!!

Wolf Creek Shifters boxset 1-3, an Audiobook by Jo Ellen was a wonderful collection of shifter romance stories!!!

First, was Wolf Creek Alpha, the story of Rafe and Lisa. He’s the leader of the pack. They protect the magical pond. Lisa is in danger and Rafe needs to protect her from unknown forces.

Next was Wolf Creek Enforcer, which follows Ian and Melanie. I think this was probably my favorite of the three!! He’s the pack enforcer and is drawn to a road for no apparent reason. She is drawn to walk to her destination…he gives her a ride!

Finally, there is Wolf Creek Ghosts about Devlin and Olivia. She sees and hears ghosts. He thinks she’s a little ‘out there’, but she’s also his mate!

This series was narrated by Jonathan Waters, who does a stellar job!!! He makes each character different and easily identifiable, voicing each in a specific way. Helps keep everything straight in a story with so many characters! Great performance!!!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this Audiobook.

Wolves & Friends

Stubborn handsome shifters & their sassy, snarky, determined mates, digging their heels in to keep their own identities. Author took constant jabs at her own creatures, which kept everything light & fun. Narrator did a great job with so many characters.

Lacking in a romance build up.

I thought the narrator did a great job. The story was lacking in a good romance. The relationships were lacking chemistry. It's like they were thrown together and the plot was the only thing holding them together. The characters were too blase about everything.

Great listen!

Wolf Creek by Jo Ellen is a collection of three enjoyable paranormal wolf-shifter romance. Each book has its own storyline with appealing plots that capture the attention, containing drama, romance, magic, suspense, and humor. The characters are well-developed and connectable with distinct personalities. I especially liked how the brothers interact with each other and their mates. The romance and the suspense portion is well done and entertaining.

Jonathan Waters does an excellent job with the narration. He portrayed the characters and their connection with each other very nicely. Overall, this was an enjoyable box-set and, I recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

The shifters of Wolf Creek!

This bundle kept me entertained for a few hours. Shifters from a place where humans treat them like enemies, scared and violent. Rafe, the Alpha, is the first to find his mate, A human left for dead, Lisa finds out how they are used as lab rats. But they are both strong and they give a good fight. Then Ian, reconnects with his mate. Melanie is a princess with a broken heart. They go through a lot to get back together. And finally Devlin finds his mate in Olivia, who can talk to ghosts. They are all special women for special shifters. Very enjoyable paranormal romance series. The narrator does a great job with all the voices.

Wolf shifters at its best.

Wolf shifters at its best.
A boxed set of three stand-alone books, set in the same universe. Three brothers find their mates and are challenged by great dangers. Great world-building and wonderful, funny characters. Enough banter and feisty females to make this a heartwarming read without making the fated mate concept too nauseating.
Great narration throughout the series. Don't forget to read/listen to book 4 first - to get the prequel in. You don't HAVE to read the books in order, but I highly recommend doing it.
A solid recommendation from me.

Great series

At first it took me a little while to get used to the narrator as his voice for the female parts sounded weird and the pausing between chapters was longer than usual and sometimes I though the book had stopped.
all in all though once you get used to the sounding you breeze through these books and actually start to enjoy them.
These are definitely books suited to people that enjoy shifter romance and go with the flow of falling in love with your true mate near enough straight away.
definitely worth the money as for all three books.

Plot variations with the same personalities!

The Wolf Creek series follows three werewolf brothers who each find their soulmates, one per book. Once each werewolf brother meets their person, they immediately know they’ve met their soulmate and only need to convince the woman it’s true love, which she initially resists. Each woman is uniquely magically gifted and despite each brother’s attempts to keep them out of harm’s way, the woman pretty much saves the day. I was gifted this box set, and although this just isn’t the supernatural romance series for me, I think Jo Ellen’s voice and writing style have improved with each book. The stories lack complexity and the characters lack depth: despite being told the brothers and their mates are different, I feel each male and female pair had the same personalities in each book, the brothers were all overly protective and possessive, and the women all acted ‘feisty’ and immaturely. Despite that, audio narrator Jonathan Waters narrates well, voicing the males as deep and growly and the females as sassy live-wires.
