loved it!

So one of the things that I love mostly about this book is the fact that the author keep the female character strong through the whole story. A lot of romance books is they keep writing the damsel in distress trop, or the FMC are very slow and make dumb decisions. But nope, this author Keeps this girl strong and I love it! now for the narrators.. very very good. The male narrator has a beautiful sultry voice, as the female beautiful just a beautiful voice only thing I have an issue with is how I wish it was the duet format. It would have been so much better, but i have no other complaints.

Sometimes this genre can be written a little clunky in my experience, but this was smartly written!

Such a unique story

For me this book was such a nice break from the traditional romantasy books that are all over right now. I was getting burnt out of those. This book was a fresh take on a new underwater world. Really enjoyed it and can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Yes! A must read!

Right at the beginning, it had me hooked. Love, love, loved the accents of the narrators! Love the FL fire and the funny quirks between the two of them. Beautiful read!

I love it. I feel like the first book of a series has to hold the weight of introducing the reader to the characters, the cultures, the assumptions, the realities, the conflict, and then get to the love story. This story handles all of that and more, there is just part of me that wished for a bit more of the sweet moments of them alone together.

the environment and story building was wonderful

ending was a little rushed but still good, I like how the epilouge flows into the next story

I’ve been waiting until the audiobook came out to read the book and I’m obsessed! Can’t wait to read the next one.

I feel like I scored the jackpot by choosing to read this via audiobook. the female narrator is "eh," but the MALE narrator - is just - ❤️‍🔥🌶️❤️‍🔥🌶️❤️‍🔥

I loved it so much. it's so good, so well written, ticks so many of my boxes, I wondered how'd they'd make a series out of it and now I know and OH MY GOD the next few are going to be hottt 💦
