Loved Blake & Harper

I loved listening to When You Blush audiobook so much. Kristen Proby did an amazing job writing Blake & Harper’s story and I really loved them together. Jason Clarke and Stella were fantastic with their performances. I highly recommend this audiobook and this entire series.

It Was Really Cute!! 🥰

Whew! 😰 I finally finished this one! 😅 Took a little bit longer to get through this because I was at work last week, but luckily, now I’m off so I could finish it quicker. 😊 Now, onto the actual story: I really DID like it; it WAS really cute, BUT, at the beginning, it didn’t really “grab” me as much as “When We Break” & “Where We Bloom” did (the previous 2 books in this series). That’s why I decided to give it 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ instead of 5. Anyway, not much else to say about the story for me, except that the 2 narrators of the audiobook were GREAT (that’s why I gave the “Performance” 5 stars & the “Story” 4. Oh, and I REALLY DO appreciate that there wasn’t much of a “suspense subplot” to this one, too! I’m honestly getting a little tired of those ALWAYS happening in Romance books now-a-days!! I really thought Harper’s (the FMC) jerk of an ex- was gonna come “back into the picture” somehow, but thankfully, he didn’t! 👍🏻😉 Now, through, I’m just waiting (impatiently) for “When We Breathe” (the next book in the series—well, novella, technically) on November 6th! It’ll be my 1st time reading/listening to a “Why Choose?/MMC” trope storyline!! 😁👍🏻 Oh, and I REALLY hope 🤞🏻 that Ava (Harper’s, the FMC, BFF & “family”) (and all the Hendrix siblings) get their own books because Ava is HILARIOUS (if you know, you know 😉)!! 😆🤞🏻

So amazing

The book as a whole was also amazing. It flowed so well. There where jumps in time between scenes but nothing that made me feel lost. The connection between Blake and Harper made my heart happy. I felt their relationship was a realistic one. It was also nice not to have any bad jump scares. Not all romance books need to have some serious situation to overcome. This book is definitely in my top 10 books of 2025. The audiobook is in my top 5 for the 2025! Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter 100% add to the story. They did such an amazing job with the dual narration. 100% will read and listen to this book again.

Best yet!

Blake is an absolute sweetheart and so patient is with Harper! They’re going to be great parents and Blake as a girl dad. 🔥🥵
Can’t wait for Blake’s book!

Five Stars!

I fall further in love with the Blackwells with each installment of the series. I've admired Blake as the series progressed, especially how he cares for his niece, Birdie, but after seeing how he cared for Harper, I'm head over heels for the guy! I loved Harper's strength & resilience after what she endured, she absolutely deserved her happily ever after with Blake.

I had a hard time trying to title this. the story was wonderful which hence the title. if you read all the tropes you actually already know pretty much some of the things that happened in the story it kind of gives it all away which in some aspects I don't necessarily care for because I did read all the tropes I am one of those people who don't even usually read blurbs of authors that I absolutely love and I absolutely love this author. this story is sweet and fierce and emotional it kind of hits all the buttons actually. I was anxious for this one just because the male character that you see in the other stories he is a flirt but never paid much mind to women because he was focused on his career and I'm finally glad to see that there's a woman who stopped him dead in his tracks. The narrators did an excellent job Jason Clark I swear can do no wrong He is such a phenomenal performer. and Stella Hunter is also one heck of a performer she played her character so well. I swear these two are part of the reason I listen to audiobooks they do such a phenomenal job. again the story is really good I really don't want to go through it read the tropes read the synopsis and just know that these two narrators bring this story to life and it is wonderful.

Swoony. Emotional. Hot chemistry. All the things.

This book was just the best! I had a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed, swooned, was angry, felt all that spice, was teary eyed, was ready to fight and swooned some more. I loved how well Harper and Blake communicated with one another. It was refreshing. I loved how Harper had a big found family. I loved how Blake stood up for himself and Harper over and over. I loved more from previous characters. Loved how they are so ingrained in one another’s lives. Makes the story feel so real. I loved that the story has a Bookclub. Makes the reader in me so happy. Love that these ladies love smut. I loved how well Harper and Blake fit together. When you know you know, even if it’s fast. I was also teary eyed so many times during this book. I also love how perfectly this book set up the next story. So good!!

Harper and Blake were meant to be from their first interaction.

I loved this one! Blake and Harper were such a good pairing. All of the girls welcoming Harper into their world and book club was amazing! When Harper learned how everyone was connected to Blake was so funny! The secret game they played threw a wrench in the story I was not sure how the two MCs would handle it. Harper’s ex is the worse. I hope he has the day he deserves! Harper has been through so much and Blake was so patient with her. He may be the perfect Blackwell! I cannot wait for the last one of the series. That grumpy brother is going to be a good read.

Wonderful Series

Blake and Harper meet on a plane in an emergency. They have an attraction to each other and have a fantastic night together. But she leaves in the morning before he wakes and he doesn't have her contact information. Then he finds out that she's a NICU nurse at the same hospital. Harper had a tough life but a local family who took her in. Blake is very patient with her and their chemistry brings them together. I really like this series and I'm looking forward to the next brother's story. The narration is perfect.
