Road rage, school shootings, workplace violence, domestic abuse, drug addiction, and even the national obesity epidemic are manifestations of an overarching problem gripping our society: anger. Other books about anger are on the market, but this is the first and only "diet" from anger: a practical, step-by-step 30-day program designed to help listeners cleanse their lives of the toxic effects of anger. As Dr. Shoshanna points out, "It is one thing to have an intellectual understanding of what is harmful. It is something else to know how to actually get rid of anger in your life."

Awesome examples, some education
I love this series, loaded with fabulous interviews and in depth examples of kids led astray by their unformed brains. But I already knew that kids do crazy things. I know I did. These interviews entertained with in-depth examples. I thought the biggest value of these stories was the interspersed neurology research. I would have liked more of that. Having said that, I loved the posts and hope to see more.

Thought provoking!
Delves deeply into what it means to be a teenager and how the mind "set"of a teenager can effect their behavior which in turn affects their whole lives. Helps us understand how the kids we love can do the unthinkable. Lot of Social Issues here presented in a non-biased rational way because the focus remains on the well being our children and not the "issue" as per se. With current and potential solutions that are not cure-alls but feasibly can truly help us adults help the kids we love - it's a thumbs up listen!

This made me think twice on how my kids must look at life and how hard it is for them in today society. The knowledge this audio gives you is fantastic and give you different angels on how the brain works. I will try to bring up my kids that little bit differently how I would normally do and to look more into each kids mind set when having out bursts or why they doing what they are doing out of the ordinary.

Great topics raised and so insightful. Some really important aspects of teen life being discussed and importantly for today's teens. The rise of social media as an influence in teen thinking is particularly vital when discussing their actions. To hear some of the stories of people now they are older and how their lives have been changed by a decision they made in their teens is valuable information for teens to hear.
