But as the novel unfurls, we begin to understand that this is not merely the story of two children finding their way through a hostile world. Amazing book.

Living in a part of the world where so many such boats have capsized, this story meant a lot to me. Huge thank you to the author for his observation and depiction of humanity in its many forms

Captivating

Once you start, it’s hard to stop. This story, this journey, this kid, this life, it is one that really hit home. At a time where many are forced to leave the safety of their home and become dependent on the kindness of others, it is hoped that stories such as these serve as a useful reminder of the need for humanity to win. This was an incredible story of compassion, of service, and of humanity.
