Good addition
This book does a great job at giving some more angles on whats happening in congruity alongside his plans and actions. I think it could do a bit more with connecting the Mc and his vassel but it does a good job of trying to flesh out a lot of plot in little time. It has some fighting but not too much compared to the others in this series. I do think they are holding fast in this school environment for plot dev a bit too long but i could be biased against school dramas in a books plot, IE i hate them lol. But all in all its worth the read, it really starts getting its stride in the last few chapters meaning the next book will be a absolute beast of plot movement and action in my opinion.

Wonderful
This is one of my favorite series cause I think the mc is my favorite mc he’s smart but rash, he’s uncaring but also very caring he’s a very complex character who likes to act like a cold hearted person but really if your one of his people he’ll do anything to help you grow and take care of you and I don’t think the mc actually realizes that he’s like that and it’s very unconscious action while when we hear his conscious thoughts he mostly thinks about getting more powerful for himself

Too long fight scenes
people are not reading/listening to these books for your supposed "amazing fight scenes". We care about character advancement and development. Stab, vleed, die. Move on.
