Interesting Fantasy World, slow burn book 2

Puts a great twist into the story line. Very slow burn over multiple books. More action in this one as well.

In love with the shadow king

Loved everything about this story, was sad it ended with no 3rd book out in audible yet.

tough to review

the male narrator is great but I feel the voice for the king is too old. it's fantastic, very talented just not the right one for the king. the female is good, but the voice for the king is weird. she didn't attempt a male voice but I think I understand why, it sorta ruined it for me.

now the story itself, I listened to the whole thing. very committed and I couldn't exactly guess what was going to happen so that was nice. The cliffhanger sucks but I'm looking forward to the next book. I liked the series but I feel it's missing something..

Great story telling

I was captivated the whole time, really enjoy this series! Can’t wait for the third book to be audible released.

Holy Wow

The will or the won't nearly drove me insane! This is most definitely a slow burn romance. It's blindly brilliant with breathtaking imagery and characters that draw you in. I've been dying for some happiness in this world and can't wait for what book three will throw our way. I am so in love with the words, the descriptions, and how beautifully the thoughts and sentences flow. My reader heart won't let this unforgettable world go, and isn't that the mark of a truly unputdownable series!?

Great story and voice acting

Very fun listening, great story, voice acting was great. I really enjoyed listening to this fantastic world and romantic story.

Second Book Really Brings it!

People complained about book 1 being a little too predictive. I said, book one set things up for book 2 and don’t give up on the series. I WAS RIGHT! I honestly thought the romance would end with book 2 but I’m pleasantly surprised it sets up for furthering the adventure of this couple. Enjoy!

I will finish the series but…

I will finish the series but the back and forth - love me don’t love me for 2 books is getting tiring. The narrators are good but the monotony of the story make it hard to keep listening. Since book 3 isn’t on Audible I have downloaded it on kindle to finish the series.

So much better than expected!

Enjoyed the story with the romance, mystery, action and symbolism. I am anxious to dive into the next book.
