I wanted a more rewarding ending

This book takes you through a journey of young love washed away in a note and the rain. You follow them both while they cross each others lives at a time where they are each with someone and not the right someone. When you finally get to the end the author doesn’t let you experience the joy of the Reunion. I get it we are supposed to figure out our own reunion but I wanted the author to describe it for me.
