Publisher's Summary

He's prince charming. Just not hers.

I have a secret.

I stole a heart, or rather a marriage contract.

It wasn’t mine to own, to look at, or to even consider.

But it was there for the taking, so I took it.

Huge mistake.

Ronan Astor is a nobility in this world.

Arrogant player.

Heartless bastard.

Vicious prince.

Now, he’s out to destroy me.

What he doesn’t know is that I’m out to destroy him, too.

My name is Teal Van Doren, and I’m where princes go to die.

Vicious Prince is part of Royal Elite series but could be listened to on its own. For better understanding of the world, you might want to listen to the previous books first. This is a mature new-adult work and contains situations that some listeners might find offensive or triggering.

And it keeps getting better

The audio for this series is impeccable. I love the duel style of narration, it makes for a much more enjoyable audio experience. As for the storyline:

Someone call my boss and lie about why I got nothing done today. One possibility is that I’m a bit of a slacker. But the real, real truth, is that I was far too busy devouring the story of Ronan & Teal for me to even bother pretending to be productive.
This story was EVERYTHING I wanted for this couple. I mean not everything, because I’m not a jerk, but all of the good things they needed.
I loved Ronan from the beginning, he was just too easy to love. And Teal was an intriguing opposite for him, literally everything the other was not.
I wish I could read this series from the beginning and experience it for the first time. As it stands, they are most definitely on my short list of favorites, and I can’t wait for more.

Beautiful story

Finally Ronan and Teal’s story does not disappoint. Those two had more in common that I could have imagined. I also love that we get a peek into their lives years later. I have enjoyed this series so
Much and thanks narration of Keira Stevens and Shane East has been amazing.

This series never disappoints!

What can I say but awesome. Again. I have devoured every book and am truly impressed with the saga. These books deal with some real serious subjects yet its all wrapped up in a dark brutal yet beautiful wrapping. Love them all! Now on to the next one!

What a performance... loved it 🧡 ❤ 💙

This story is so well put together even though in the beginning it seems all wrong. The relationship has an odd beginning that you root for them to go their separate ways. She stands for all the wrong things and he's just a wild child. In time it all makes sense. What a beautiful story. Its only outdone by its narrators. They were perfect in this dual narration.

This is definitely a great listen. 👍 ENJOY!!

Great story

Ronan Astor was everyone’s friend and came across as a happy, playful soul. But deep down Ronan had a few dark secrets and could be rather cruel when pressed, and Teal Van Doren had a knack at pushing all his buttons. Teal had a plan and would do anything to see it through. When the opportunity arose, she grabbed it with both hands and became Ronan’s fiancé. He was anything but happy and continually pushed her to breaking point. But Teal could play the game, and while the game was being played, they each let down their guards and showed each other their real selves and allowed their true feelings to show. Guilt manifests and plans go off course. But at the end of the day, revenge is revenge and someone always gets hurt. Who will it be, and has there been some confusion to the real identities? Ms. Kent is a powerful writer. You start off wary of the characters but by the end of the book, you are hopelessly in love with them all. The plot twists will have you spinning and the hidden secrets will leave you gasping. Another Fantastic book, by this awesome author - I have read and listened to this - the performance/voices was spell binding by the narrators and I loved it. As for Rona Astor - his voice was absolutely dreamy.

Highly recommend!

If you're a fan of the Royal Elite series then I would highly recommend continuing with this story. This is also the first book I listened to twice - as soon as I finished it the first time, I listened again. The characters are so rich and I picked up more details on the second listen. Teal and Ronan have a lot of layers and the majority of the book is about their relationship and it's progression. I love how upfront Ronan is about his feelings while Teal fights her feelings; it is a different dynamic than the other stories. Towards the end the mystery is unraveled and it is very edge-of-your-seat suspenseful. It introduces some more detail around Silver and Cole, too, setting up for the next book

My Favorite Book out of the Series...

Ronan is my most favorite character.
Love his personality and charm. Ronan and Teal balance each other out. Can’t wait for the epilogue book and Knox’s book too.

Not My Favorite

Ronan has always been one of my favorite characters because he made everything seem so much more light and funny. I loved how he would just all of a sudden speak French to his friends, and I loved how he cared about Kimmy when everyone else was mean to her. After saying all that, I didn’t love this book as much as I thought I would love it because it was Ronan’s story. I think it has to do with not really caring for Teal. She never really connected to me as a character like the other girls. I don’t care for her personality at all.

I do think they each had a sad story, but it was over-the-top for me. I’m still giving it five stars because it was a great book and the performers for the audiobook were excellent.

love thos series

the narrators are great in this series. I can't get enough of Shane East. one of the most memorable moments of the story was when Ronin recalled and told Teal about what happened to him when he was younger. Then she remembered what happened to her and her brother when she was younh, only she didn't connect the dots. This book is very emotional towards the end and has triggers. But even with that said this couple were definitely meant to be.

Fantastic narration

I loved this audiobook. The narrators were perfect and made the story so enjoyable. This book was dark and just magnificent but the audio version was even better. You need to listen to this book. I can’t recommend it enough.

Viscous Prince

What an emotional ride! I felt absolutely everything these characters did and I have to tell you, I may have a book hangover after this one. The writing flows perfectly and the narrators were the perfect choice.

Dark & Gritty!

Dark, gritty, and passionate, Rina Kent has written the story of Ronan and Teal. These two are arranged to be married, and don’t realize how fate has stepped into their lives. These two are broken, have agendas and together find a way to heal. The story is absolutely amazing. Kent has encompassed so much in their story. The two have so much in common yet are completely different. She has them dealing with relevant issues, dysfunctional families and finding love in the most unexpected places. Teal is a complex woman. There are so many layers to her, it takes a while for us to get to know her. Ronan is intuitive, and the depth of his brokenness had me falling for him early on. The two have undeniable chemistry, and they had my heart invested in them finding their happily ever after.

Shane East and Keira Stevens narrate this story with an achingly, emotional performance. The two bring Teal and Ronan to life and let us feel every emotion. From frustration, to fear, to excitement to love, we feel every tug to our hearts. It’s an amazing narration.

Dark Bully Romance

Vicious Prince by Rina Kent is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Shane East and Keira Stevens. This is the fifth book in the Royal Elite Series.

This book does come with a warning “This is a mature new-adult work and contains situations that some listeners might find offensive or triggering.”

I absolutely love this series! Rina is an amazing writer! She pulls me into the story and makes me fall in love with the characters. I loved the relationship between Teal and Ronan. I think they may be my favorite couple so far. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Ruthless Empire to be released on September 10, 2020 so I can get Cole and Silver’s story.

Shane and Keira did an amazing job on the narration! I absolutely love duet narration it just brings the story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you love dark romance or bully romance.

Unexpected and brilliant

This story really surprised me, it totally wasn't what I expected it to be from what I had learned about the characters from the previous books. So much hidden away, so much pain and brokenness. It tore at my heart but I had to know what was going to happen and how it was going to resolve. It kept me right there with them all the way through. Shane East and Keira Stevens did another fantastic job with the narration, they bring the story to life so beautifully.

Ronan and Teal!

Ronan is the member of the group who always has a smile on his face, a joke to lighten the mood and his reputation with the ladies is legendary but appearances can be deceiving. His father wants to see him married and has brokered a deal with Elsa’s father however Ronan is not above some bullying to ensure that she declines the engagement but he is about to find out she is much stronger than she appears.

Teal has endured a childhood that no one should have to, and it has shaped her into the woman she is today. She doesn’t like to be touched and she knows that she doesn’t fit in with her peers, but she doesn’t care what others think about her. She has her own reasons for agreeing to the engagement and there is nothing that Ronan could do or say to change her mind.

They both have secrets and as they spend time together no one is more surprised than they are when their initial plan to hurt each other now has them wanting to protect each other but is it too late?

The characters draw you in, the chemistry is intense and the story has some surprises you don’t see coming as these two damaged people help each other heal from their pasts. I listened to an audio copy of the book and the narrators were the perfect choice for the characters.

What a school!

Wow, this school is a tough school to be at! This is book 5 in the series and while I did read the first book in the series, I wish I read this series in order. There's a lot happening in this book and a bit builds on the prior books in the series (I'm reading/listening to book 2 right now!).

This book follows another of the 4 Horsemen (Ronan) and Teal, who is his fiancé. Ronan starts by trying to get her to stop the engagement. (Arranged marriage, as per the title). She refuses to because of a past issue (which isn't really revealed to the readers until the end although I sort of guessed what happened.) I loved Ronan in books 1 and 2 (and I think I'll like him across the series because I liked him in this book too.). He's fun and adorable but with a very very deeply hidden pain that Teal eventually helps heal. She also is quite hurt and them too together actually are really great together. There are ups and downs, of course, a fair amount of angst and pain but overall, this book was interesting and I was totally invested in the world.

The same narrators, Shane East and Keira Stevens, narrate across the series. They are amazing. Both brought emotion into the story (and have, consistently, through books 1 and 2 as well). I have LOVED their narration, which truly immersed me into the story and this twisted world.

Every book gets more intense

Just when I think I've read the best Rina Kent book to date, this one falls into my lap. I've been waiting for Ronan's story since reading Deviant King and to say I'm blown away is an understatement. The push and pull, the angst, the twists, the steam. It's all there. I don't know how she's going to top this with Cole's story, but I'll be ready to have my sky high expectations blown out the water. Once again Shane East and Kiera Stevens bring the angst to life in this duel narration story.

I received an advance copy of this to review from Wildfire marketing on behalf of the author. My review is unbiased and all opinions herein are my own.
