Autora y editora española, Sara Sánchez Buendía estudió Filosofía en la Universidad Ramon Lull. Más tarde completó su formación con un posgrado en Guion de Cine y Televisión por la Universidad de Barcelona, además de con varios cursos sobre derechos de autor o digitalización, que le han servido en su trabajo como editora. Sánchez Buendía ha trabajado para editoriales como Edebé o Antoni Bosch, además de como freelance en Planeta o Gustavo Gili, entre otras.En lo literario, Sánchez Buendía se ha decantado por el género infantil y juvenil, llegando a ser finalista del Premio Gran Angular de 2008 con su novela Vicente y el misterio del escritor informal.
