Great Sci-Fi book!

This is what happens when a young boy has all the power, too much intelligence, and no balance … Jimmy, the father of Jaya and Jevin begins to wield power that a grown-up shouldn’t have! Given his ability to manipulate timelines and create alternate ones he runs amok. Jimmy aka Profit108 begins to fulfill those wishes that serve his purposes – there is always a cost, and they always benefit him! This book explains a lot of things that have happened in this series and gives us new puzzles!

The author, Michael David Cochran has driven home the old adage, “be careful what you wish for … it might just happen.” Except in this book, he shows what happens when one tends to manipulate too much! Each character and each storyline are clearly written and concise, while it could lead to confusion Cochran’s writing style keeps it all clear. The narrator, Nan McNamara, helps to keep the characters and storylines clear as well as unique voices for each character.

I am saddened by what the character Jimmy has become, I am hopeful he learns his lesson and not before it is too late! Throughout the series, Cochran has endeared all of the characters to his listeners with their different circumstances and personalities even to the point that (and I am sure I am not alone) Jimmy grows up to be a responsible adult. I am looking forward to where Cochran takes us next!

McNamara, as always, provides a steady performance with the right amount of modulation, emotions, and cadence without missing a beat. Her voice is steady and consistent from book to book.

If you enjoy science fiction, this is a good solid series to get hooked on!
