What happens when a bad boy becomes a man?

Nate Davis didn't plan on returning to his hateful hometown. But then, he didn't plan on being widowed in his 20s or on his mother getting sick, either. Turns out, life doesn't give a f--k about plans.

Hannah Kabbah thought her career in childcare was over. After all, no one wants a woman with a criminal damage conviction watching their kids. But when her high school crush returns to Ravenswood with two kids in tow, she gets the second chance she never dreamed of.

She also gets to know Nate - the real Nate. The one whose stony exterior hides aching vulnerability. Who makes her smile when she wants to fall apart. Who is way, way more than the bad boy persona he earned so long ago, and way too noble to ever sleep with the nanny.

So it's a good thing she's completely over that teenage crush, right?

The more I read of Talia Hibbert, the more I want to read! I really don’t care for the town of Ravenswood but I do enjoy how the awful towns people get put in their place. The plot is a lovely version of falling in love with the boss and the slow burn is phenomenal!Rupert Channing does a spectacular job at narration and the depth of the characters is wonderful. I was completely absorbed by Talia’s writing and can’t (won’t) wait to dive in to the next in the Ravenswood series!

So Touchable!

I really love the Kubbah sisters. They are so funny and real and profound in the simple strength of their familial bonds and persistence of their self reflection. Nate was a stand up guy. It's rare as a reader of romance that you can trust the guy to be consistent and semi-communicative. Equally rare, especially if the heroine is black, for it to be explicitly stated that she is neither too much nor not enough. Honestly, when Ruth had that 30 word sermon and asked Hannah if she really thought Nate would be gone from a week of weirdness and an awkward moment, I wanted to stand up and applaud right where I was. In short, this book gave me life, laughter, and the honest narration of a couple's pursuit of romantic happiness. Talia Hibbert, you gifted storyteller, thank you.

This story was sweet. I am glad to have listened to the audiobook instead of having to read it.
The heroine was like no other one I have read . She was real in her narcissism. I liked how she overcame it.
The hero was the kind of supportive man that most women could use in their life.
The story is very well written and told.

Well thought out love story.

Masterful writing and perfect narration! the two of you make a perfect team. I hope Rupert Channing narrates all of your books!
I sometimes became frustrated with the self sabotage that the women in the first and second books experienced, even though I understand the psychological /medical reasons why. Otherwise, I was enthralled from beginning to end! As a Black woman married to a White man who utterly worships the ground I walk on, your Ravenswood series so far has been especially relatable. Talia Hibbert, you are so talented and a true artist with your words!
I plan on reading all of your books!

well done! Again!
