So much more than I expected!!!

I was so wonderfully surprised by this book. The story is full of suspense, romance, and some humor. I have read some books by this author and am amazed with how much character development she can write in a book. The characters she writes about have flaws and issues. The story moves along quite fast and is very good. I thought the narrator did an excellent performance with the various characters and accents. This book is original and a standalone listen. I loved the ending with the unexpected twists! My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I will definitely listen to more books by the author and narrator. I thought the narrator did a fantastic job with some of the characters (my favorite was the husband with the Russian accent). I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

absolutely great!

I can't wait until it's recognized that these stories are absolutely the best. I kinda wanted them in order but this is just as good.. The reader is good the story is excellent. If​I could give it 10 stars l absolutely would.

Amazing, unique love story

This is one of the best books by Theodora Taylor. This book has humor, passion and a great and unique love story. This is a must listen if you love interracial romances, then you will love this story.

Exceptional

Short, yet complete. Theodora Taylor explores novel subjects in such a loving way. This story is no exception. Loved the two characters Go and Nyla. What a love story! To borrow a phrase from a movie…they complete each other. Through all their scars and challenges there’s no stopping them finding and keeping love. Left me smiling.

Interesting Book!

This book is pretty interesting. I liked the concept of the story. To have 2 different people who are the complete opposite to fall in love was beautiful. These two were made for each other. The ending was expected and unexpected all at the same time. The Go character was so robotic it was almost driving me nuts. Not as much as hearing the words "the plan". The narrator did an awesome job as well.
