Such a great read!

I absolutely loved this story. It even had me crying at the last chapter not knowing what was to come or how it would end. Highly recommend this story! Cannot wait for the next book to come out!

The creative plot

I loved this book, the beginning was odd but I just has to push past the first few chapters but after that I fell in love with everything about this book.

Pleasantly surprised

Throughly enjoyed this book. The narrators were excellent. Very excited to hear book two! Only thing I’d change is for the male roles To be narrated solely by the male narrator and female for the female.

I loved the growth for the main characters…

But I loved the reunification more. The relationship is sufficiently dark and caring. I feel that consent was always obtained with some dubious coercion employed.

Hot and heavy scenes combined with an enchanting story. I cannot wait to continue with book 2 next year!

A winding story with many twists

I had a hard time getting through the first chapter as I perceived the main character as a weak representation for women. I am glad I held on though as it was just the beginning point of a wonderful character development. It was a joy to watch each character grow, and lovely to see an acceptance that people are not just good and bad, but varying degrees of both. I look forward to the next book.

not for those who do not like a lot of sex scene

I am going to preference this with I attempted this book twice, the first time I was not in the mood for a ton of sex scenes I wanted some plot. The second time i came back I was in the right mind set and the audible was available which helped the narrator did a fantastic job narrating and making it enjoyable to listen to which didn't come across trying to read it alone. Highly recommend if you like Fantasy Romance with sex scenes and Labyrinth style characters.

Stunning and Balanced

This book was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t get enough of it. I do wish the author spent more time explaining and describing how people looked, sounded, how the world looked and such but those are all just minor details for world building anyways. Everything else was so immaculate. The story was perfectly balanced between smut and plot. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, gripping at my heart strings and making me eager to keep listening.

I will absolutely be reading Book 2 once it’s released in 2026.
