This book is interesting- learning the history of the location of the story, as well as, the theme of love & redemption. Totally worth reading, as it also warm your heart.

Good story

This was a good story. Not too many surprises and a bit too religious for my tastes in a novel but a good story.

Creative and Christian

This isn't a cookie cutter story. I enjoyed all the historical bits. I didn't feel that it was preachy or that there was too many Christian references. She ÷ is a new to me author. I want to read more of her books!

Quentin's irascible behavior is difficult to understand

I have enjoyed many of Laura Frantz 's books. and there are some I didn't really like. This one is interesting and the setting is amazing. But it isn't one of my favorites.
