Christ's heart for YOU revealed
In this life we see time and time again where patience runs out, where parents say "I picture God looking at me and saying, "Again? Really? Didn't you learn from the last 300 times that you did this?!'" We see where others have fallen short and where we have fallen short with our love of others, of God, and of ourselves. We want to know God loves us, and to some degree we know He does and believe that He does, but to what extent? What if He really knew just how fallen our hearts are... what if we just try to perform better, serve more in the church and community, maybe He'll love, or at least tolerate, us more.
Christ's heart for you is not dependent on you. And I know you know that, but do you really believe it in your heart? Do you truly believe and have your identity secure in that you are seen by Him as His perfect bride, beautiful, radiant and holy? Do you see HIM accurately? He is the most beautiful, gentle, kind, and loving person there is. To see His heart is to love Him.
This book will take you deeper into your eternal romance with Christ as you see His heart. When you hear and think about what He Himself revealed about Himself and His heart in scripture, the eyes of your heart and mind will widen with awe as you take in His beauty. So rich and moving!
From the emotional and spiritual profundity of the content, to the warm, well-paced performance of the reader, this read was far greater than the scores of great reviews I heard about it! I doubt many of my friends had the honor of listening to it read on audible, but boy did they miss out. Maybe it's my extroverted nature talking, but I highly recommend a listen to this even if you've read the book already.
