Nat Evans and Vic O’Brien are a wonderful couple. If only Nat knew it! Haaaa. The good news is she eventually figures it out! This is a great story with action, awesome friendships and a whole lot of love.
Lula Larkin narrates the characters really well!

Good story, didn’t like narration.

I liked the story, but the voices were hard to listen to. I would have stopped listening but since I paid for it, I wanted my moneys worth.

Worth it!

Once again, Radclyffe has crafted a wonderful story. The age-gap romance was fantastic, but really there is something in this book for everyone... If you love the wilderness... If you love dog rescue... If you love search and rescue... If you'd like an awesome happy ever after read, this is it!

Love and excitement

This was another great love story/first responder story by Radcliffe. And this book doesn't let the reader down on either respect. I always appreciate the use of first responder technical terminology and Radcliffe uses it effectively. I also absolutely love the way Lula Larkin brings the characters to life. She has an exceptional way of bringing the listener into the novel. From the way she read, I could feel the anxiety and adrenaline of the characters when they were going after the drug manufacturers. My anxiety increased.

Good But

I enjoyed the premise , location and who doesn't love rangers in the wilderness?
But, I found the narrator extremely choppy with excessive inflection. Also, the angst of the older character drove me absolutely crazy.
More adventure less angst!

Loved it

I wish Radclyffe wrote more books and more often. I love her books as I loved this one. Well written, interesting plot, beautiful love and great MC. Good narration.

Amazing

I love all of Radclyffe’s books. And the way she pulls the heart strings couples with Lula Larkins amazing narration is a match made in heaven.

Always exciting

After listening to the superb voice acting of Abby Craden, I found it difficult to buy into the narration of this book. Radclyffe is an author whose books I have enjoyed and Abby Craden’s nuanced acting is something special. I find that I almost never listen to a book that she has not narrated.

Boring story

I’ve always been a fan of Radclyffe, but this one disappointed me greatly. The story was stretched into what seemed like forever only because of the constant and innumerable descriptions of every little detail in the forest, in the lake, etc. In short, I skipped through most of the chapters because I was bored of listening to more of the same. The characters did not draw me into the story and the narration, although good, was hard to tolerate because of the dullness of the story.

Predictable

Storyline was predictable, was uncomfortable about the age difference and the fluctuations past vs present in story line. The story in summary had blurred lines, for me.
