MY FAVORITE BOOK

I really and truly loved this book!!!! OMG it was the best! Ro and Freddy (Matthew) are my favorite characters of all time! College students - Ro super smart tutor that struggled and came from a bad relationship with Tyler <-- he is poopy! - Freddy - a playboy and a star hockey player that struggled with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and his grades.
They both have been emotionally damaged. They find a special friendship in each other when Ro becomes his tutor,
There is so much packed in this read. I laughed, smiled, swooned, and cried! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this read! I need more of these kinds of books!

Favorite series

I have had this book pre-ordered for months now because I loved the first one so much! It did not disappoint! This author has a way with words because it is so easy to fall in love with the characters and get attached to the story. If you take anything away from this review just read it trust me!

Easy to love

This was a great love story and the voice actors were really good at immersing you into their world. This was a super slow burn, but I liked it. This couple needed to go slow and build a strong relationship because they both had some pretty tough issues. This book made me laugh and cry. When it did get spicy, it got hot. The found family in this was amazing and I hope we get more. Those epilogues were were the tears of happiness flowed, the sweetest ending.

Perfection!

Freddy is the school’s playboy hockey player and Ro is his tutor who just got out of a toxic relationship…mostly. Freddy was used for his body, treated like he was nothing except for a good time. Ro was shamed for wearing bows in her hair and being “too much”. Both are people pleasers who just wanted to be loved for who they are inside. Both have low self esteem, because of how they’ve been treated by the people around them. There was a lot of negative, toxic noise surrounding them (except for Sadie, Rhys, and his teammates), which made their growth more angsty and well earned.

There was so many sweet moments between Freddy and Ro as their friendship grew into a deep love. He was flirty and she was kind. Both found what they needed in their friendship, and I loved seeing them stand up for each other, showing each other that they weren’t the problem. Ro and Freddy were able to be themselves with each other. There was not one thing I didn’t love about this book, except for Carmen and Tyler. Those 2 are evil! Unloved is a MUST read!

Perfect follow up to book one. Loved every second, the only change I would make would be to find out what horrible life her ex ended up with.

my angel babies!! this book was just everything!!! peyton has a lifelong fan in me because I am obsessed with her writing and her stories. plus, the father-son relationships in this series are so beautiful (not matty’s biological dad…he’s absolute trash)!

matty and rosalie were the sweetest couple. they captured what it truly meant to protect the people you love. matty’s backstory absolutely broke me—like full on sobbing with snot running down my face. I would die for him!!! he’s the best friend, son, teammate, and boyfriend. he deserves all good things! and that includes my precious angel, ro!! god I love her so much. if I ever see that pos tyler ever again it’s on sight!!!! I hate him so much for what he did to her. but my freddy guy showered her with all the love and all was well. the slow burn of friends to lovers was so beautiful!

the epilogue did a number on me I’m not gonna lie. the last name?? like come on!!

A gripping story that pulls at your heartstrings. I found the main character’s journey very touching, and I listened to this all in one sitting to see how it would play out.

Typical Reality-TV Sport Romance (Ex: She’s The Man ft Amanda Bynes)

I loved the connection with the characters, Ro & Freddy. Freddy seems such a sweetest person to love. really! he's such a genuine, caring, humble person who shows what a true gentleman should act like. but, i would've loved this book if i realized its a slow burn...and that i don't think i am quite into hockey romances/and or any sports romances but this is just my first sport romance book. idk i think its just me that all sport romances are like cheesy in a way. anyways, i felt like this would be like your typical reality-tv romantic movie (comparing to the movie, She's The Man with Amanda Bynes).

This series is SO good! I love a hockey romance but these are so different from all the others I’ve read. The story is fantastic and the narrators did an excellent job.
