Publisher's summary

When we were 11, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot jump. He lied.

(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)

I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton. But it wasn’t.

Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier - and the betting stakes higher - until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.

But 20 years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart. How many chances does true love deserve?

Loved the series💥💥💥💥💥

I loved Book 1 with Teddy and Savannah and really enjoyed Book 2 with Stephen Dexter. Savannah's character Chloe was all sassy yet vulnerable and had lots of spunk and spirit!!! Stephen's character Oliver could be spoiled, egotistical and selfish a lot, but he demonstrated some enduring moments at times. It's hard to get original story lines with over 600 books in your library but listening to Oliver and Chloe as kids, to teenagers, to young adults to adults was entertaining. The past and the present bought these two together endearingly. And I really like these narrators. Melanie Harlow is a great author. I love her writing and the humor, steam and chemistry in her books.

No for me

Story was good but. I like imperfect characters but I had difficulty to feel the love. It seemed more about sex. After stunt in Chicago I would like more groveling. Didn’t like at all swearing with F bombs and Lord’s name.

So Good!

I was so excited for Chloe's story! Savannah and Stephen were perfect for these characters! I loved how this story spans so many year with every up and down along the way. the name Undeniable is absolutely perfect and so true to the story! Lots of push and pull.. I felt for them both and wanted to scream at them both at times lol. SO SO good! Can't wait for the next!

Main male character was awful and it never got better 😩

I never leave bad reviews for characters because I feel like somehow, even the most deplorable characters redeem themselves. However, in this case, he never EVER redeems himself. He wasn’t the worst character I have read about but after listening for a few hours I regretted purchasing this story. The main guy is just a childish and ignorant asshole that continues to make his situation worse. Even his inner dialogue is brutal… he has no self awareness and even when he slowly starts to show some sort of self reflection, he ruins it by dismissing his actions. Ugh enough already and I will forsure be asking for my credit back.

Meh compared to book 1

I had such high expectations because I loved book 1 so much. This was only okay in comparison.

But my favorite hero

Overall, it was a good contemporary romance. Some enemies to lovers vibe mixed with second chance romance. The writing was good, and the banter was better. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of our hero, Oliver. I never did warm up to him. I felt like he lied to everyone, especially Chloe, thru the majority of the book. And most of his behavior was just childish and immature. I never saw any redeeming qualities in him. Just not the hero for me.
The narration was very good but Stephen Dexter and Savanah Peachwood.

Ehh

I didn't like the story line at all and it took forever to read because I just couldn't get into it.
It wasn't bad, but it was not good either!! Definitely different from all the other books I've read by her, hopefully they're not a trend.

Good narration, hated the story

I can’t get into a love story that involves so much deceit and manipulation for literal years. Then just smooth everything over with an apology and promise to do better? No thank you. Main fc deserved better than Oliver.

Just delightful! A coming of age tale.

Chapter 5 is one of my favorites by Stephen Dexter. His portrayal of a high school Oliver is spot on. It takes 20 years for this guy to realize he truly is a butthead! The "Then" chapters steal my heart every time. Dexter and Peachwood are an excellent duo.

One of my favorites

I think this has to be one of my new favorite books, (and I read a LOT!) Just the sweetest story, I loved it from beginning to end. Great character development and chemistry between the MCs. I love second chance romances and this one is likely my new all-time favorite. Melanie Harlow’s stories just speak to my heart! The narrators were also both wonderful for this story too, which can make or break an audiobook in my opinion. I highly recommend this one if you like sweet, sexy, lower angst second chance romances.
