The book helped open my eyes to things that Mary possibly went through. I especially liked the ending in how that Mary repented and asked for forgiveness to Jesus because she tried to guide him wrong according to what she thought the messiah really came for.

This intimate perspective has greatly influenced my biblical understanding. Francine Rivers has done it again - once you start the story, you won't want to stop. Honestly, it never occurred to me that Mary and Joseph may have been taunted by the devil in his effort to destroy God's plan - wow. Love this story and really appreciate the talented narrator who was able to bring such emotion and realism.

I just enjoyed the whole book thank you very much it was just a pleasure to listen to the feelings of Jesus and his mother and to really put some definition on his father Joseph his earthly father
