Engaging & Insightful

After doing a group book study of the first in the series 2 years ago, listening to this one on my own was a spiritual experience which opened up places in my heart to feel, think, process and believe right alongside each of the four ladies in this book. I loved the presentation of this story, too — engaging and entertaining. Like she meant every word she spoke. For someone ready to learn and grow in their own life with Jesus, and relate with other people’s journeys through this life - I highly recommend Two Steps Forward!

Paused for Growth

In this sequel to Sensible Shoes, it was refreshing to listen to the growth of each character. I was able to hear a bit of myself in each of them. Most importantly I was able to great God reassuring me thru them that I am loved and to continue to trust Him.

Enjoyed the book. These first two books in the series were my first Audible book read and I loved it. Narrator did a good job.

How it actually relates to the story line of each lady.

I love the book; connecting with each lady struggles & praises has been one of the best experiences I’ve had as I listened to a book.

A waste of time.

Tried listening several different times. Not worth my time, weird ideas and weird relationships. Monotone.

Will read again

I read Sensible Shoes, the first book in the series last year and listened to it again recently. It is a different kind of story and takes you through a spiritual journey of four different women. This book, 2 steps forward, picks up wear sensible shoes ends, in the lives of the four women. They each are growing in their faith in different areas and as they face struggles they learn to apply some of the things they learned during the sensible shoes book. Oh I feel like I can identify with each of the four women in someway. And I wish I had a sacred journey course to go through like they did. I liked that this book was somewhat focused around the Christmas season and when I read this book again I plan to do it around Christmas time. I also noticed at the end there is a group study that can be done along with the book and I hope to do that as well. In my opinion, these books can be transformational.

So helpful

This book is masterfully read. The characters are so relatable and their journey speaks to me about mine. I found the way they walked out the spiritual practices shared in book 1 to be very practical and helpful.

Great work 👏

This was a truly remarkable experience
After I read Sensible Shoes I thought it would be difficult to top that, but Sharon Garlough Brown, you did just that.

The way these four friends and their families' life's entwined are so heart warming ❤... I can relate with so many different things happening in this book.

Thanks to our Lord and Savior for guiding us through our lives
