Dark Romance

Truth or Kill by A.C. Kramer is a standalone dark romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Chloe Ryan and Michael Gallagher. This book is part of the Twisted Legends series.

This is the first book of A.C. Kramer's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The loved the chemistry between Kage and Sydney. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Chloe and Michael did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, gothic romances, or romantic suspense.

Kill Switch

This is a unique book. It's like Clue and any horror movie come to life. Sydney has been invited to The Lodge by her college roommate and teammate for spring break. Sydney was never supposed to be at this retreat though. Who are supposed to be here are elite families that do business together. This is supposed to be a bonding retreat for the elites. Sydney meets Kage who works at The Lodge. Kage has a agenda of his own. Kage and Sydney have a explosive chemistry. Kage is dark, dominating, and a lot crazy. Kage knows the end game but will not help Sydney. Kage won't let Sydney go either. There are dual plots going on. This book is pretty dark and very steamy. Obviously contains trigger warnings for some people.

Different Kind of Romance

I enjoyed this book. It wasn't all hearts and flowers, but wasn't a typical "dark" romance either. In fact there really wasn't much "romance" in it at all. Two people drawn to each other, yes. One of those people messed up in the head consumed with family and revenge, absolutely. A puzzle the heroine has to figure out to prove herself, yes. Somehow all of these different things work together to make an interesting story that definitely kept my attention. Narration was great as well. Worth it!

Truth or Kill

I listened to the audiobook for this and I felt it really brought this book to life. It is a short read but worth it.

Sydney is brought to a lodge for spring break by her friend Becca. She is thrust into a strange competition of sorts with the heirs of a HUGE for corporation. Slowly some of the players are killed and truths are revealed. Sydney meets a man who works for the lodge and there is an instant connection between the two. She wants to escape but he wants her to stay and continue to play the game so she can get some truths of her own.

This book was really good and narrators did a really good job bringing this story to life. The spice in this was also really good and I enjoyed every minute reading/listening to this book.

Let the games begin

Suspense, murder, lust, drama...yes, yes, yes!!! I loved the twists and turns; the story was unique and gripping.

Wow! just... wow!!!
This book is like nothing I've read before.
I loved the story and the characters, and feel like I didn't get enough.
The angst, the resolution, everything - brilliantly written.
The narrators were great, and I didn't give 5 stars only because I don't like this duet narration style.

Couldn’t put it down

This book pulled me in in the first chapter and I couldn’t put it down. The suspense, and the spice are on point. I loved Sydney and Kate together, and the narrators were perfection.

Good

This was my first read from this author and I loved it! Loved the mysterious vibe this one had as well as the characters!

Definitely recommend!
