Publisher's Summary

“You don’t belong.”

No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true.

They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control. I’m the girl from the ghetto with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come.

They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.

But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.

Trouble is coming...and they have no idea.

Trouble at Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow-up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be heard only after having listened to book one.

Idk why I listen

I guess I’m tired of looking for new books? This wasn’t as bad as I’ve read, but it wasn’t good either.

If the same shit didn’t keep happening over and over I would be more into it. You know.. learning from your mistakes and all? It’s aggravating that over and over they don’t tell eachother what’s going on, yet continuously talk about what an impenetrable unit the 4 of them are. If so.. why does Raven not tell them a HUGE life changing piece of their puzzle? Why does Captain keep his secrets all fuckin’ day till it’s too late? They literally never share all the details. Obviously not as close as the book tries so hard to portray.

Then, speaking of portraying— ravens whole interactions with other people are them telling her how awesome she is. How cool it is that she’s in with the Brayshaws, how pretty she is, how special she is. Etc etc. idk. There was a lot of eye rolling in it for me.

And why do I feel like the male narrator is yelling at me? “SHE WALKED ACROSS THE ROOM and got HER PURSE.” Like.. chill the fuck put Dexter. You’re making me anxious.

When is book 3 going on audible ??!!!

Ok so I started this series not knowing there is a book 3 not yet on audible. Gah! I could just kick myself! Although frustrated I have to say I love love love this series so far. Love this author and the story is so flipping good. I love the dynamic of the characters and the narration is perfect. Totally recommend but would suggest to wait till all books are out on audible before you start. Please hurry on the 3rd book!

Entertaining Story. 3.5 stars

I liked the story but the female narrator was the wrong voice for this character. Female narrator sounds very preppy. I visualize her in tennis skirts and polos, not in ripped jeans and hoodies and definitely not in a fight.

The Male narrator was sexy but he sounds like a much older man and not a teenager.

Gah!! Cliffhanger is killen’ me😮😣🤬

This 2nd book ends in one hell of a cliffhanger!!!
Just when I think I’ve figured it out...BOOM! While some secrets are exposed there is still a tantalizing nugget (or 2,5 or hell maybe 10 lol) hanging just out of reach. I have a theory, but won’t express it here😉
Raven, and the boys (Maddox her main man/mate/luv, Captain her soul brother and Royce her brother from another mother , not literally tho...I don’t think at least) all go through hell together as they try to stay ahead of plots, betrayal and schemes everywhere.
This series with its “secret society” stuff, for lack better term, is definitely similar to author Amo Jones’s Elite Kings series but NOT a copycat at all. Its got the same kind of grit, intrigue, sexy as hell alpha males, dangerous people and situations that lead to violence etc. but is it’s own creation by Meagan Brandy ...touché girl!
This listen is a fast-paced, twist and turn, wtf just happened ride, and I didn’t want it to end!!!
Can’t wait for book three, hopefully soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Trouble At Brayshaw on audible

Narrarators are wonderful just like I said in my first review. Love both of them and they do a great job of getting me into the book.
If I thought Raven drove me insane with her stubbornness in the first book then realize it happens a lot in this book as well. I will say this book was just as amazing if not better then the first book.
So much has happened in this book. While you see what each boy brought to Raven and what she brought to them developed even more in this book. We know Raven is with just one brothers but the other two brothers have their own relationship with Raven. They all love each other but all in different ways. They are a family all 4 of them and they protect each other and do what they all feel they need to in order to help each other. Sometimes they keep too many secrets but there are so many secrets that come to light in this book. Some things I thought might happen and others I was not expecting! So many decisions to be made and when some people show up they may cause more issues than we would think! You are constantly worried that others will break their family up but I am hopeful that things will all work out!!

LOVE this series!!!

LOVE this series, with the twists & turns & surprises. I've read the 1st three books twice now and still love them. I like how they all leave you on cliff-hangers so you literally pick off where you pick up in the next book. I like how its like a soap opera all on its own, it would make for a great TV series.

Must Read 5 stars

This series of books is so overlooked, so relatable and raw, but would not recommend for anyone under the age of 16 :)

ADORE THIS SERIES

This series is EVERYTHING I lived and breathed books one and two and am crazy excited to see where book 3 will take me. So many twists and turns I was guessing right until the end and rooting for Raven from the very beginning.

The talent and attention to details of this amazing author blows my mind. One click this books now you will not be disappointed!

Great Continuation

Absolutely loved the way the characters have grown together and how they will protect each other even if it means going against the family ties and rules.

Raven has somehow become a more intricate part of the Brayshaw fold, I won't spoil it by saying how. But be ready for a big big collision between, Grayshaws, Brayshaws and Raven who is the main reason why all this is happening, and the father of the boys realises has met his match and can't be manipulated here mother was, and where he has definitely underestimated her stronghold on the 3 Brayshaw lads.

Hot and miss

I mostly enjoyed this book but there were elements that made me want to stop. The narration was on point and I think that’s why I kept listening. The overall story line was good but some parts I found confusing, as it seemed to jump around a bit. I really struggled with the American English (drug for dragged and others that I can’t remember but really annoyed me. I would finish off the series but I’m also not jumping up and down for the next book.

Hearing this story come to life is AMAZING, the problem, my brain might explode if I don’t find out what happens next. Meagan Brandy you are the QUEEN of cliff hangers. Can’t wait to get my hands on REIGN.
