Brilliant writing.

Sanderson just cannot write a bad book! Michael Kramer, again, absolutely sets the standards for what an audio book performance should be.

Whit gets to tell a story

If you’ve read the stormlight archives, then you’ll get most of the references and enjoy a great tale set in the cosmere.

How most of the characters grew into a better version of themselves.

This is probably my least favorite of all the Brandon Sanderson books but I still enjoyed it.

I usually enjoy Sanderson's books but this one is a cut above all the rest. I thoroughly enjoyed it start/finish. It is fun, engaging, and the characters are delightful. Plot twist made it a surprise find! (no spoilers; twist is near the end). Narrator has a great delivery, especially for the humor that is embedded throughout.

Favorite Sea-faring tale

Loved the performance, the comical narrator, the clever imagination of how this planet in the cosmere functions. My favorite standalone of the year so far and my favorite Sanderson novel after Stormlight Archive.

A witty fashion clash of a story

Loved it all from start to finish. Especially the Easter eggs and endless possibilities. Can’t wait to read more from this and adjacent worlds or moons.

Charlie was too weak.

Charlie was too whimpy. He could have shown glimmers of strength earlier in the book.
