It was so amazing definitely would recommend to any one looking for a good book!

Well-deserving of the Newbery

A dystopia about the importance of diversity and the power of stories. Fantastic world building and a perfect pacing that balances suspense and character building. My only qualm is I want more! I would love to see a sequel.

Amazing storyline

This story made me so happy. I don’t want to spoil the end but the end made me teary. The narrator is amazing. I have listened to many of her narrated books and she is great!!!

Was a pretty good book. The reading was good enough for me to understand things and the book was quite interesting but overall it was nice.

Possibly one of the best audiobooks of this year. The story draws you in and paints a picture in your mind. It is interesting and captivating. You won't be able to stop listening and, at the end, you'll wish for more. Donna Barba Higuera is a marvelous cuentista!

A unique mix of science fiction, survivalism, and Mexican culture. Truly a gem. Love this book.
