Too much dead air
There is WAY to much dead air and I'm sure that during most of that dead air there is narration happening because when the sound comes back much has been missed ~ this is getting worse rapidly I'm about to the point of canceling my subscription

Good yarn
This should be a popular story with readers of the beloved Sackett series. It’s got all the elements of a good yarn: good story and background scenery, good dialogue and mountain description. Hard to put it down!

Love L'Amour's Sackett series, BUT...
They're all the same. When I read them as a kid I didn't notice. My recommendation is to read 1 or 2, read something else, and then come back for a couple more. Not a series to read back to back.
