In space, trust is currency—and Geddy Starheart's account is overdrawn.

Geddy thought his troubles were over when he recovered his ship. But in the blink of an eye, it's snatched away again. The culprits? Probably the notorious Zelnads. With a crew to feed and an empty cargo hold, Geddy's got to think fast. His solution? Enter the galaxy's most infamous high-stakes race.

Diving headfirst into uncharted space, Geddy and his ragtag team embark on a potentially lucrative—and definitely dangerous—journey. As they push their limits, Geddy realizes success hinges on more than just piloting skills and quick wits—it requires complete trust. But to earn that, he must reveal the truth behind his personal quest, a secret that could tear the team apart.

Trawler Trash, the second installment in C. P. James's Reassembly series, catapults listeners back into a universe brimming with humor, heart, and gripping adventure. Will Geddy's risky gambit pay off, or will it leave them stranded in the void?

So far I'm still liking it. Once in a while the captain will annoy me, like refusing to be taught the controls of a ship and insisting he knows what he's doing only to later on have no idea and accidentally shut it down. I don't know why authors insist on doing things like that but then he (the captain) recovers and does something to surprise me or respect him a little more. And the fact that they can actually win a score now and then and make a little money or get a few upgrades is nice. Most space operas I've read has been so annoying where there's betrayal in the crew or some big score goes sideways at the last moment and the crew and the ship aren't really better off than when the book started. It's very frustrating to see all this stuff happen only for it to all get undone, so I'm happy to say it doesn't happen in this book series. At least not yet anyways. Anyways I'm definitely reading the next one. I recommend you check it out.

So far so good
