Publisher's summary

Help transform your business and innovate like the world's top tech companies!

Transformed: Moving to the Product Operating Model was written to bridge the gap between where most companies are right now and where they need to be. The leaders of these companies know they must transform to compete in an era of rapidly changing enabling technology, but most of them have never operated this way before. Transformed has three big goals:

- First, the book will educate you with a deep understanding of the product operating model, and what it means to work that way.

- Second, the book will convince you with detailed case studies of successful transformations, that while difficult, it is absolutely possible for you to transform your company to the product operating model.

- Third, the book will inspire you with truly impressive case studies of product innovation, showing what you too will be capable of doing once you successfully transform.

Written by bestselling author Marty Cagan and his partners at the Silicon Valley Product Group, Transformed is filled with real-world examples and proven, practical advice from their decades of experience helping companies move to the product operating model.

Mr Cagan brings it all together

I liked that this completes a triangle started by Inspired and Empowered. in many ways I wish this had been the first book, but coming out now as the 3rd book (4th if you include Loved), still works.

Based on my experience over the past few years, I will say this book is highly aspirational, as many of my clients aren't ready to make such grand, sweeping changes. But, having seen the problems created by incomplete transformations, I appreciate the guideposts in this book identifying what needs to be done.

Thank you Marty & SVPG.

Common sense

I have seen many misused terms in product and have been badly impacted by them as well. This book is refreshing view that explains many bad practices put in place by people in power that really have very little idea how to make teams work effectively these days

A great toolkit

The book is a great addition to the collection. The promise of the product operating model is attainable when applied effectively. Industries may resist and the overall impact on employment could create friction. I would highly recommend

20 years of product model observations

Marty does a good job. the chapters are organized well eith a recent update to the audio book. Marty shares 20 years of observations and patterns of product led organizations and teams exhibit and how they ultimately created an order of magnitude change in the customer and business. I was bored the first half because it was logical and foundational knowledge bit if you're just getting started this a great guide to changing your organization from the bottom up to the top.
