I absolutely loved this page-turner inspired by a true story. The narrator did a brilliant job, Her German was native and flawless, and she did an amazing job voicing the characters and soulful dynamics of this story. She has the kind of voice I could listen to forever and never want to stop hearing, and I enjoyed this audiobook so much that I did not want it to end. And I learned so much fascinating stuff, too! Can’t wait for more from this dynamic author and narrator team!

Wow an amazing book that keeps you at the edge of your seat. I started reading (listening to) the book last week and can’t seem to put it down. Every free moment I got I wanted to jump back into the story. Love how much detail was put into the story. I felt like I was learning so much about New York during WW2 while going through this crazy adventure. Highly recommend a listen.
