Publisher's Summary

Everything Ivy Morgan thought she knew has been turned on its head. After being betrayed and then nearly killed by the Prince of the Fae, she's left bruised and devastated - and with an earth-shattering secret that she must keep at all costs. And if the Order finds out her secret, they'll kill her.

Then there's Ren Owens, the sexy, tattooed Elite member of the Order who has been sharing Ivy's bed and claiming her heart. Their chemistry is smoking hot, but Ivy knows that Ren has always valued his duty to the Order above all else - he could never touch her if he knew the truth. That is, if he let her live at all. Yet how can she live with herself if she lies to him?

But as the Fae Prince begins to close in, intent on permanently opening the gates to the Otherworld, Ivy is running out of options. If she doesn't figure out who she can trust - and fast - it's not only her heart that will be torn apart but civilization itself.

Love this series bummer is waiting 2 yrs for next

If you could sum up Torn in three words, what would they be?

It's Absolutely Awesome

What was one of the most memorable moments of Torn?

When Ren rescued Ivy

What about Amy Landon’s performance did you like?

She did a great job and you knew which character she was speaking as she can change her voice so expertly

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but it was too long for that of course I won't complain as I loved every minute of it

Any additional comments?

I had to wait almost 2 years after wicked for torn to see what happened and now it'll probably be another 2 yr wait for next in series and hopefully the final

Disappointed

One of those angst ridden characters that is often to stupid to live. It was promising but I wanted to bang my head on the wall to much to enjoy it

Just pure love for this series

Would you consider the audio edition of Torn to be better than the print version?

I really, really loved this audio version because the narrator distinguishes very well between characters and she really impressed me with her version of Tink.

What other book might you compare Torn to and why?

I believe I already mentioned this on the first book in this series, but she reminds me quite a bit of the Karen Marie Moning "Fever" Series. Both are all about the Fae, but what this book has that the Fever series is missing is TINK!

What does Amy Landon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings a different personality and attitude that you may not pick up if you just read the book through print version.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I really enjoyed the part where Tink morphed into his human form and of course, the ending which I won't give away, but it is perfect!

Any additional comments?

I am so excited to read the 3rd book in this series! Counting the days! If you enjoyed any of Karen Marie Moning's books, then you will certainly enjoy this series!

Wow! I'm officially addicted!!

After listening to the first book I was so sucked into the story line, I had to know what was going to happen next. The characters in this series are so well developed and lovable. Thankfully, this book is spicier on the intimate details between Ren and Ivy.

This series so far is right up there with Kim Harrison's books of the "Lore ".I'm finding it awfully entertaining,funny,witty...just to name a few.I am loving the characters and all the drama.Amy Landon has done an excellent job with narration. So many characters to follow yet she flows seamlessly throughout the story.I love it,can't wait to listen to the next in the series.

ehhhh

ok we obviously need a thesaurus so that another word to describe a house in New Orleans other than antebellum!!! omg if i had to hear the word antebellum being used to describe Brighton and her crazy moms house one more time..i mean really more than three times is just too much. and the word comfortable...ugh. The first book in this series was really great and hilarious...but this one...well it just really got on my nerves...repetitive and oh so PREDICTABLE!!! disappointed to say the least.

The story keeps getting better!

I'll be broke by the end of this series! I can't stop listening! Just the right amount of adult romance mixed in with the sci-fi. Suspense too! I am usually about vampires and wares but I am now living the Faye too!

Love this series!

Ah yes, book 2 in the Wicked series is complete! And there's just more questions, some new information about the fae world, plus The Prince brings a whole new meaning to creepy.

We've got the group all back together and Torn was just full of twists and surprises. And we get to see Ivy's vulnerable side even deeper than we witness in Wicked. The book picks up right where the last one ended, so I was quite thankful that too much time didn't pass between both books.

Ivy faces so much in this, dealing with her new reality of what she is, the betrayal of her best friend, trying to avoid The Prince at all costs, and keeping secrets from the one person who could literally break her if all is revealed.

The fae world in this trilogy is definitely intriguing me completely. In Wicked, we view them as the bad guys, ones you can't trust and who just want to suck the life out of you. In Torn, we learn more about faes, well another side to them. And the reality that not all of them are bad! Talk about plot twist and I'm just dying to know more.

OK, now let's talk about The Prince, which we definitely know his name, but I'm not going to spoil that because I'm loving it. Yes, he's downright creepy and he needs to work on how he says…certain things. But I can't quite pin my finger on him, I don't exactly hate the guy. I should because he's definitely a deadly arrogant/a**hole, but I have a hunch that he isn't entirely bad. However, I'm probably crazy and have him totally wrong.

I'm still completely hooked on this series and will be diving into Brave right away. Absolutely can't wait to read the conclusion, although I'm a bit nervous since I have no idea how everything will play out

Too much sex

The first book in this series was absolutely gripping so I was really excited when the second was published. Unfortunately there seems to be more sex scenes than dramatic scenes in this book and, although it later becomes apparent why the sex was so important, it really did get to me how much sex there was. It was like reading a young adult book crossed with a porn magazine.
