The emotion portrayed by the narrator.

I liked how the narrators voice changed with her age but also showed how she progressively got more depressed.

Stunning

I had to mentally prepare to read this as I’ve heard this duet was a doozy. What I wasn’t prepared for was how beautiful this was written. I was overwhelmed with how many emotions were triggered throughout the story. It’s heavy. It’s beautiful. It’s tragic.

Hard read.

This book had me in a chokehold. Read your triggers! Very dark, very toxic. Read with caution.

A book I want to hold, punch, kiss, burn, cry for and scream at.

I stared into a wall for two days after reading this duet. So fucking full of conflicting and broken emotions.
I couldnt walk outside for almost a week because my eyes were so damn swollen.

Part 1 and 2 Summary
Dylan Page, what a truly emotional ride. This story was so well written and depicts what life can throw at us and how differently each individual handles it. It's not always pretty but then it wouldn't be real life and the challenges that comes with it. I've read a lot of MC books but this story is told in a way that doesn't paint it as good biker guy among the bad who meets the one woman that can fit into his lifestyle and they live HEA. Left me emotionally drained but well worth it. First time reading your work but definitely won't be the last!

Groomed to be a mindless doll

This was the most touted, most recommended book in dark genre over the months. And I must say in a rare circumstance, it really lived up to the expectation. It’s a heartbreaking story and hopeless in mood. A young girl, almost a kid is thrust into biker world because her widowed mother falls for a biker. And now they’re both trapped. Mother turns to booze, child is t least loved and protected by James and his son, Shay. Shay becomes her only ally, who cares for her, looks after her , isolates her and breaks her to put her together in the mold that caters to his whims and fancies.
She doesn’t know any better , till her world crashes down because her passion, her dance is taken away from her and mother killed.
Her savior alternative Keenan is in the sidelines, motioning her to come with him. But Meena is so scared, so confused, she doesn’t and the story comes to an end on a very sad, dismal end.
Narration by Rylee Forrester is so so so good, I got lost in her voice.

Not dark, not romance

Like another reader commented…not dark, not romance, good story, no suspense either. No other characters perspectives given, though there is a plethora of side main characters.

Amazing suspense

Amazing romantic suspense! Immediately started book two upon finishing. Great book and performance. Bravo! I hope the rest will be in audio as well.
