The club comes before everything...even love.

When the past comes back to bite, it bites hard. And now everything is in chaos. I want the Iron Hunters to go legit, but right now we’re too focused on survival to clean up. And one wrong move will earn me a permanent new home...behind bars.

Slim's the guy I need to keep me focused, grounded. He owns my heart, but with our world in upheaval we can’t let our club know what we are to one another. The longer we’re forced to keep this secret, the more I’m worried Slim will walk away. But with the FBI onto our every move, our relationship isn’t the only secret at risk.

If the Iron Hunters are going to survive we’ll have to figure out who is friend or foe, but what happens when the betrayal comes from inside the club?

Great Listen

This was a great listen! If you haven't read/listened to the first book I would so before jumping into book 2! It starts where book one left off and while you can catch up it will help with any confusion you may have.

This story follows Ward & Slim who have best friends for a long time and they follow along the journey of becoming new lovers. I thought the story was great and it was definitely a slow burn between the two characters. I liked how it was the story and the romance was second.

The narrator did a great job! In some steamy scenes, he gave the characters life and I would listen to him all day.

Great listen.

This is a great suspense listen. I like Ward and Slim's story. I was on the edge of my seat as I was listening. Eric Umstott does a great job in this narration. He did give these characters and story life.

Complications galore

Unlike some other MC stories out now, the world Ward and Slim live in is not one where openly gay club members are common and totally accepted. That barrier to an open relationship is only the beginning of the trouble these two have being together. There are the efforts to change the nature of the club's activities, dirty cops, blackmail, kidnapping, and traitor(s) within the club. It isn't clear who can be trusted and all the plot complications are not wrapped up in this book in the series so be prepared. Ward and Slim are believable as a couple who deserve their HEA and I cannot wait until the next book which I already have queued up to read. Thank goodness, as about two chapters into this book I had to go double check the blurb on that one to make sure things were going to get wrapped up there. I am overjoyed that book is already available but disappointed that the audiobook is not out yet and I can't hear it performed by Eric Umstott. His performance was note perfect. He is a new voice actor for me and I immediately bought into the world and all these guys from his first words. He completely captures Ward's emotional conflicts and I will definitely grab the next audiobook as soon as it comes out so I can hear him give Ward and Slim their HEA.

Together We Ride

Together We Ride is book 2 in the Iron Hunters series and should be enjoyed after book 1. This book continues the story of Slim and Ward. This book also ends in a cliffhanger but it's at the perfect spot to get you ready for the next book in the series. This book is action packed and even has some stolen kisses. If you enjoy motorcycle club books you won't want to miss this series.
Narrator Eric Umstott does an amazing job. He has the perfect voice for these characters.

Suspense, Steam and an MC

Together We Ride by Sasha Goldie & JP Oliver is the second book in the Iron Hunters series. This contemporary m/m romance is full of suspense, violence, danger, motorcycle clubs, the FBI, and steam. I was caught up in the story and wanted even more. Cant wait to get my hands on next book - what a cliffhanger to end on!

The Narrator: is Eric Umstott. Amazing voicework that gave characters personality and life. Great recording.

Not a stand alone

Picks up exactly where book 1 leaves us and ends with another cliffhanger. There is so much happening with a lot of characters but its an easy listen with a great narrator. Looking forward to see what hapoebs next!

The action continues and things heat up

The story picks up exactly where things left off in the first book. Things get a little better, then they get a lot complicated. When you don’t know who to trust, how can you even make headway? With everything going on, pursuing a forbidden relationship isn’t easy, either. The storyline is consistent with how it was laid out in the first book, and we get to know the characters even better in this book. I don’t typically read books with a lot of action, but I’m glad I gave this series a chance. I really enjoyed it. The narrator did another great job bringing a voice to the story. This is not a stand alone book, and like the first book, it ends in a cliffhanger.

Did not see it coming

J.P. And Sasha have created a suspense filled and thrilling world. Never a dull moment with the Iron Hunters Club, and poor Slim and Ward still don’t have an easy go of it.

The story itself is stirring and keeps the listener on the edge of their seat about what’s going to happen next and how will they get themselves out of this new crisis. The sexual chemistry between our two Main Dudes is spicy and delicious while at the same time they find ways to be sweet and tender. It’s a balance that works so well, and has the listeners craving more!

The world of bike clubs, crews and thugs was extremely well written and expanded on. All the different elements were brought together and executed perfectly and gave us a realistic sense of life on the other side of the law.

The different characters all had so much depth and intrigue around them, leaving the listener questioning and second guessing motives and incentives the entire way through. The ending was shocking and definitely did not see it coming but in all the best ways! Of course their talent for leaving us on the cliffs edge craving the rest of the story is paramount and this listener is screaming for more!

The narrator did a really great job with this piece! Though there were a few times I had a difficult time differentiating between characters speaking, over all the story was delivered quite well. The narrator did an excellent job with Wards voice though and especially with his sultry tones when he was getting frisky with his man. And I think we can al appreciate the strong power behind his gruff voice when he was getting serious with his club.

Over all this piece was great and I’d recommend it to any number of young and middle aged adults who like suspense, thrill and M/M scenes+romance.
