Why didn't I read this earlier!
I really enjoy Cari Z and L.A. Witt's writing. This took me a few minutes to get into but then I didn't want to put it down. Of course I LOVE Nick J. Russo as a narrator. Enjoy the main characters!

Action Packed!!
This is my first read of these two authors combined
I’m gonna assume the action/suspense is more from Cari
This story was action filled from beginning to end, and it’s clear the journey carries on in the next book
While I thoroughly enjoyed the story and have no regrets about this purchase, I’m not sure it should be considered in the romance category
Yes there was attraction and they did have one short encounter but it was not the focus of the story
I’d say their personal attraction to each other was maybe 10% of the book.
I love a good story with a good amount of both plot and romance because for me a story with “only” romance is annoying
Maybe in your future colabs, keep the suspense as it’s fantastic,but maybe spice it up a bit more
The narration was stellar but it was Nick Russo and he always delivers an amazing job bringing the characters to life
Overall, a very interesting, suspenseful enjoyable book!
