Spare me from AI reading the book

I will never read a book with a computer generated reader again. Poor cadence and poor intonation. The story seemed more like a newsreel than a novel.

I had to stop listening

I didn't realize it was read by AI until I started it. The voice was nice,but the reading errors were too much for me. "She walked into the room and found MI. 6 agents." "We're going live to our correspondent on scene." pronounced like "I want to live" instead of "We're going live".
Punctuation seems to confuse the AI reader. Whether it's a dash, a comma, or question mark, it's all read as if it's a period.
The story is engaging and interesting, as far as I got. but I just can't listen to this.
