After 24 chapters couldn’t go further

The stories were supposed to be gripping and fast paced from the beginning. But, it went completely flat after the first chapter. I tried to keep listening but at chapter 24, I had enough. The AI voice doesn’t help either. If AI is where many authors are going with audible books, then I believe that they will loose a lot of revenue.

This box set is neither in chronological order, nor published order. The AI reading makes it very boring and disengaged. I made it to the beginning of the 5th book before I gave up. The stories themselves are fine, but because the reading is so poorly done, and the books not being in order, I couldn't do it any longer.
