Publisher's summary

They say there's a fine line between love and hate. There is. I fell in love with a monster. He used me. He destroyed me. He made a fool out of me. I didn't know it at the start. You never do. You think you have found the man of your dreams. You think nothing could break you apart. How wrong you are.

I loved Marcus Tandem with everything that was me. To him I was just a business deal, a way to keep something he'd worked hard for. He never had any intentions of returning my affections. He never wanted me in his life. But I wanted him in mine.

When you fall in love with the devil, you expect to get burned. Marcus burned me. He consumed me. He devastated me. Somewhere inside I knew he was no good. I just prayed having me in his life might be enough. I hold on to that small hope that maybe, just maybe, somewhere deep down in his soul, he might love me too.

Contains mature themes.

Awesome narration!!

This book will suck you in and spit you back out in shattered pieces!!!
That's where I'm at right now; shattered! I knew when I started reading the first page that it was going to be a whirlwind of emotions but it still didn't prepare me!
Marcus Tandem is a man on a mission. Tall, dark, broody, domineering and hot as hell; he'll let nothing get in his way to acquiring his grandfather's business that he's run for the past 10 yrs.
Katia is not in a good place; with a shit job that doesn't pay enough and works her to the bone along with taking care of her sick Mom; it's easy when Marcus swoops into her life making things better & giving her the best sex of her life!! Unfortunately, Katia turns out to be Marcus's mission and she gets sucked into his world falling fast and hard. She's gives him all of herself and what she gets in return will make your head spin!
This story is not for the faint hearted.

wow, omg

This book is an erotic, romance book.

Marcus doesn't show emotion, he doesn't allow anyone to get close enough to see through his shields, but when his company is on the line he has to find a wife without her knowing that he will lose everything. One night he found the perfect woman, she was gorgeous, works, needs money to care for her sick mother, the perfect opportunity, for him to sweep in and save her day and his company. He did not marry for love, only for convenience, but she doesn't know that, or did he?

Katia fell in love, when she does she did it head first, but as time goes by she is beginning to notice that love is a one way street. Then a surprise a rival of her husband makes an appearance and it happens to be her birth father. The wheels begin to turn and what she thought was love was nothing more than a scam. When Marcus trows her out, ending their relationship and destroying them both.

I was so shocked when I read this one, it is nothing like the type of books she wrote before. I cried, yelled and could not put it down. LOVED IT!!!

...

This book has good moments but I'm not a fan of constantly flashing back and forth between the "past" and "present". In my opinion it would have been better had the story just been told from the beginning and moved to the end instead of the back and forth mess.

Could have been great...

This book could have been great but it wasnt. Heroine was overly dramatic but was very quick to forgive the guy. I would think someone would be trying to constantly sabotage their marriage and (spoiler) I would have expected someone to send her a copy of the will early on but that didnt happened until towards the end. These are supposedly dangerous men who will stop at nothing to get what they want but they sure dont act like it.

This book was fantastic. I could feel the characters emotions. I didn't want the book to end. Can't wait to listen to part 2.

Entertaining!

What made the experience of listening to 'Til Death - Part 1 the most enjoyable?

I liked how the characters developed ...... even though the beginning when the Will had certain stipulations made it seem like just another love story ... it developed into more than that..... the heroine was a strong person even during weak moments.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Marcus was my least favorite ... because I don't believe that he can suddenly discover her is in love.

What about Roger Wayne and Lidia Dornet ’s performance did you like?

They were fine performers and did not take away from the story line with annoying voices.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I would not make a film about this book.

Any additional comments?

It is worth a credit or a sale. This was my first time reading this author and I think I will continue to read her books in the future.

Inhale a Big SINful breath, of “Til Death”

Whoah, this listen is all about moody broody Marcus the Man whore & what he’ll do (anything) to get what he wants!
This is not some deep or sweet romance nor is it particularly dark. Listening to this you’ll get lots of hot sexy scenes, a domineering, cold & sexy alpha male. A female protagonist way out of her depth when they meet!
Marcus ends up targeting Katia as the woman he will marry since he’s required to under the terms of his grandfathers will. Katia ends up falling for Marcus as he methodically plans his seduction and they marry in 6 months.
They have lots of great sex which is the only time he really engages her in beginning. Towards the end he seemingly starts to have feelings (maybe or maybe not) but you’ll have to determine that, there’s much going on under the water yet to surface. There are other plot elements;
Marcus is not shall we say an upstanding businessman and is involved in what appears to be a lot of shady stuff. Katia’s mother has been keeping a big secret & there are dangerous men circling Marcus & Katia like sharks. And yes, a catty bitch or two, lol!
Book ends in a cliffhanger & I’m downloading the next one now.
I have the romance package and this book included & so is the next.
It’s a nice, mindless & hot sexy listen which is just what a girl sometimes needs LMAO

WORTH THE CREDIT!

Defiantly worth the credit, Entertaining Roger Wayne is an awesome narrator. Lidia Dornet needs some work, she sounds like shes is spitting she shouts when she gets excited which is kind of annoying.

couldn't get pass chapter 3

the narrators are horrible, especially the female narrative when she has to do other people's voices. when I read the description the book sounded like it had potential so I will be checking it out in print on Kindle rather than listen to it.
