Great listen but you'll be left wanting more

Book 1 had me hooked on this world/story and I had to immediately grab this book to continue the story. The same can be said for this book but, unfortunately, there is no book 3 for me to go out and purchase!

If you enjoyed book 1 I highly recommend you pick up this book (unless you want to wait for book 3 to come out and then binge them). I thought the story here was just as enjoyable as the first and have no complaints beyond it not being long enough and leaving loose ends for book 3.

Narration by Greg Tremblay was, again, superb and I would be greatly disappointed if he does not narrate the third.

I love and hate this writer cliff hanger much.

I wanna cry and I wanna see that grinning ass Robert killed for his actions awww man I want book three now.

A perfect reading of a perfect book!

This novel is one of the most well written, in-depth, and exciting novels I have came across in a love time. the plot is beautifully intricate; as it is woven from multiple perspectives, it adds a sense of urgency but never convolusion. While the plot unfolds slowly, none of its content is ever boring, and it's climax is so brilliant it makes the payoff that much greater. Few novels left me with this much of an impact. Bravo, Mr. Shusterman! Bravo!

As for the performance, it was read exceedingly well. Voices were acted out, down to their genders and accents. He read each word with consideration of the authors intended effect, and delivered a great narration.

Overall, this is my absolute favorite audiobook as of late. I cannot wait until the final installment is released; until then, I'm going to listen to the series again. Yes, The Arc of a Scythe is just that good!

Possibly even better than the last one.

Maybe because I had a stronger stomach (had desensitized somewhat) after the first novel, or perhaps because there was less focus on 'gleaning', I enjoyed the book even more than the last one. Can't wait for the third instalment.

I would listen to Greg Tremblay read the phone book. Shusterman has created in the Arc of a Scythe series an entire universe; captivating and so different from our own. Looking forward to the next book. Don’t make us wait too long.
