Colonial Union Ambassador Ode Abumwe and her team are used to life on the lower end of the diplomatic ladder. But when a high-profile diplomat goes missing, Abumwe and her team are last-minute replacements on a mission critical to the Colonial Union’s future. As the team works to pull off their task, CDF Lieutenant Harry Wilson discovers there’s more to the story of the missing diplomats than anyone expected... a secret that could spell war for humanity.
The B-Team is a tale from John Scalzi's The Human Division, a series of self-contained but interrelated short stories set in the Old Man's War universe.

Where does The B-Team rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The series started off well enough, but I grew tired of waiting for more episodes to come out. The piecemeal release of each episode is how tv networks operate, I don't want the same thing in my books. What was one of the most memorable moments of The B-Team?
The first book in the series. What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Great narration.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My extreme reaction caused me to preorder the whole series.Any additional comments?
After the ninth episode, I canceled the rest. I decided not to put up with having to wait. If a full book is published, I'll be one of the first to order it.Grew tired of waiting for more chapters

This is my second Scalzi book (the first was a much longer Fuzzy Nation). He writes with constant "he said" "she said" at the end of sentences which gets annoying, but his stories are good enough that you still enjoy them.
I plan to listen to all the books in his Human Division series.
Great Short Story (and for 51 cents!)

What did you like best about The B-Team? What did you like least?
If I really wanted to just listen to Episode 1 of something, I'd watch TV. This was my first and last exploration of this approach.A Long Book Chapter, With the Book Missing

If you could sum up The B-Team in three words, what would they be?
I enjoyed the story. I am appreciative John Scalzi's skill to tell a story, screen play, or to help make theater in my mind with written words. I am looking for and reading the stuff he done. I think author is adept writing for television, theater, or movie script story production. Characters are developed but there is a common culture, and era of time of current popular culture. I think tis is something that older readers will discern. The narration is excellent and performs great. The narration performance is as much the story as the written material. Not everybody gets excellent evaluation from me. However, it does seem so at times. I believe the level of pnarration performance talent out here is high in the common market of narration performers.
I await the science fiction next production from Mr. Scalzi. I will read collections of even shorter stories he has recently appears.
What did you like best about this story?
Not a short story.Have you listened to any of William Dufris’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
None I recall..I am seeking to experience more.
I believe the short sory is hard to do.
