Incredible book and performance

Phenomenal!

Im not even finished yet....I am about halfway through.... but I could not wait until I finished to give this review. I have always admired Kerry Washington as an actress. I knew she was from my hometown even my home city..... but not until I read this book did I realize that I am her, she is me, she is every woman. This book resonated with me on so many levels, from some of the childhood places, experiences, emotions, traumas, familial relationships.... I could go on and on and on. Besides the holy Bible, this book has resonated with me in ways I could never imagine. It is a must read and I have a profound new respect for her not only as an actress, now an author, and most importantly as a woman of color.
