Deeply Needed and Helpful

This was a truly remarkable exploration of the importance of wisdom and the fact of its unfortunate neglect in current Christianity. She does an amazing job of compelling each of us not just to think about it but live into it. Her exploration incorporated her own experiences deep insights into text and theology and more.

The only reason I couldn’t give it five stars across the board, which in many ways I felt it was, is that occasionally she too fell into perhaps a way of saying it could only be this way. Rather than allowing wisdom and other elements of Christianity to sit by side by side there were occasions where she insisted it could only be one way. I am continuing to think and honor that perspective yet not sure it speaks to the fullness of all her claims.

I am grateful for her gift and it will change the way I think about my own faith and about who Jesus is and why he matters. What could be better than that?

Deep Non Dual Jesus

Author is really wonderful and shares deep truths about the spiritual Master from Nazareth. Worth a deep listen for sure. enjoy Jesus.

In Awe

I am on my third time listening to this book. So many of the author’s takes on the Bible and Jesus’s intentions have been what’s been on my heart for a while. Next time through, I’m taking notes.

Affirmation of the Unspoken

This book eloquently and understandably affirmed what my heart knew but my mind and words could not verbalize. Chapter and verse (of the Bible) were presented in a new light that helped banished the dark and murky institutionalized edicts of old. So much food for thought. A book that I will visit again and again.

The narrator was excellent. Understanding Jesus' saying from the wisdom tradition is eye-opening. For me, the new testament makes sense makes more sense, and my spirituality comes alive

this book is essential reading for all modern-day christians. the author takes us deep inside the mystical body of the Christian church and shows us what it means to experience Christ's face to face rather than through a liturgy.
