Perhaps no figure in biblical scholarship has been the subject of more controversy and debate than Mary Magdalene. What made the experience of listening to The Gospel of Mary Magdalene the most enjoyable?

This was one of the best books I have read on Mary Magdalene. Extremely well researched and beautifully written. I have gotten much out of this audio presentation. A must listen to.

If one is at all interested in the Gnostic gospels, early Christianity or the inner teachings of Jesus this is a very good book.

Excellent Analysis

I was very unfamiliar with this gospel and found out so much more about Mary and the disciples. Excellent audiobook for understanding!

The narrator 👎👎👎

I find it hard to listen to the narrator. She’s like, not talking in her real voice. If that’s her real voice then I imagine everyone she knows is like 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️STFU! LoL

eye opening

this puts a whole new slant on the scripture. I think it is a welcome addition to the other canonical Gospels and should be part of them wherever!

Enlightening

I always wondered why the church excluded women when Jesus clearly did not. I now understand that it was through intimidation and jealousy that women were excluded seems to me that we had the ability to see the inner light that men are so often taught to block out.

It was the best narrative of Mary Magdalene that I've heard. Gave me lots to think about put a new spin on how we should think not really just kind of clarified it.
